“The service was truly outstanding from start to finish. The staff member at the counter was very kind, welcoming, and professional, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. You can really tell there’s attention to detail and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
My poke bowl was absolutely delicious and very fresh. The ingredients were high quality, well presented, and perfectly balanced a real pleasure to eat.
What stood out the most was the thoughtful gesture of bringing my bag to my car, especially since I was poorly parked. It’s this kind of extra care that really makes a difference and shows exceptional customer service.
Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend!“

“Wow, j'ai découvert votre restaurant il y a presque 6 ans et nous l'adorons. Le service est impeccable et la qualité est incroyable. C'est le meilleur restaurant en termes de rapport qualité-prix que nous ayons essayé dans la Montérégie, et nous en avons testé plusieurs. C'est vraiment un incontournable, surtout pour la formule à volonté ! Il n'y a jamais d'erreur dans les commandes et l'ambiance est chaleureuse. “Great experience at this Japanese restaurant. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth. The ramen noodle soup was also excellent, rich, flavorful, and comforting. Service was friendly and attentive, and the small space felt cozy rather than cramped. Would definitely come back!“

“We basically ordered most of the menu.
I tried several vegan options, and they were really good—the grilled mushrooms were a standout. Portions are generous and very filling. The octopus wasn’t great, but according to my friend, the sashimi and tatakis were excellent.
The service was a bit disappointing at the beginning, but it improved. We ended up speaking with the owner at the end, and she was very kind, which helped leave a better impression.
Overall, the food was good.

“I had the poke poki bowl. Generous portion, fresh good quality fish, very fresh veggies and nice sticky rice. I wasn't expecting much but it was surprisingly a great poke bowl.

“The best for your bang, their $10 chicken katsu combo is a steal for a food court meal. The service is usually pretty fast and their meals come with a complementary soup (wonton or miso). Their portion sizes are huge!!! I often have a hard time finishing everything. That being said, don't expect the best customer service, they're curt and a little cold but that's how they keep churning out food at a fast pace. I always come here after classes, since it's so close to McGill.
Update: I returned back to Sushi Momoyama after graduating from McGill and the food still tastes great! The chicken katsu is $15 after tax, not too shabby for mall prices. Lots of people took the poke bowls, so I might need to try that for next time!“

“We love hidden fish , normally we order out at least twice a month but this week I decided to eat in with my gf. We went on Saturday Night, Wilson the server was great, he recommended best dishes on the menu, and his service was top of the line. We sat in the lounge area, amazing decor and ambient. We will come back again!“

“Nice spot! We came for the 1$ oysters, which were mediocre, but the other food was good! All the sushi was presented really nicely and very fresh ingredients. The salmon tartar was really good. We also got the crispy maguro which was really good, like a fancy “sushi pizza” that a lot of places do. All of the maki looked yummy, just a bit on the smaller side as it’s more of a boutique restaurant.
They did have a $10 selection of wine online on the menu but in the restaurant they didn’t have that anymore, so I ended up getting a nice dry rose.
The decor inside is very nice, with a giant fake cherry tree, and some plants. Where they make the sushi it is fully open so it’s cool to get to see them out the ingredients together, and you get to see that it’s all prepared fresh.
Also most of this area is permit parking only, so I’d suggest taking the metro if you came here to avoid trying to park.“
