“The service was truly outstanding from start to finish. The staff member at the counter was very kind, welcoming, and professional, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. You can really tell there’s attention to detail and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
My poke bowl was absolutely delicious and very fresh. The ingredients were high quality, well presented, and perfectly balanced a real pleasure to eat.
What stood out the most was the thoughtful gesture of bringing my bag to my car, especially since I was poorly parked. It’s this kind of extra care that really makes a difference and shows exceptional customer service.

“Yubari is a small Japanese restaurant tucked into the heart of the Old Port that delivers a surprisingly refined dining experience.

The layout creates a comfortable flow where conversations remain intimate rather than drowned in noise. The low lighting adds warmth, and the presence of a live DJ gives the restaurant a subtle lounge energy without overpowering the dining experience.
The food is excellent. Each dish is carefully prepared and beautifully presented, with the kind of balance and precision you expect from a high-quality Japanese kitchen. The menu manages to feel both refined and approachable, making it easy to explore a few different plates.
Service is another highlight. The waiters and waitresses are attentive and genuinely helpful when it comes to recommendations. They guide you through the menu with confidence and enthusiasm, which makes the experience feel personal rather than transactional.

“ThAnd snow my kind of Japanese restaurant- no sushi at n the menu! Sure they have sashimi, and nothing against sushi per se - when it’s done as a high level food experience (almost never in the west), it’s excellent; usually, it’s fast food.
In this down tempo At Denis eatery their menu has a huge array of fair priced appetizers that are more than filling (and perfect for sharing) as well as ramen and bao and larger plates.
Their sake based cocktails and large selection of sake are impressive. And highly recommended are the grilled oyster mushrooms.
For me, attention to detail is what takes this place to another level - no ice in the water they serve you, the miso soup is dark, food is sometime served on long wooden planks for large groups. Awesome!“

“I had the poke poki bowl. Generous portion, fresh good quality fish, very fresh veggies and nice sticky rice. I wasn't expecting much but it was surprisingly a great poke bowl.

“We love hidden fish , normally we order out at least twice a month but this week I decided to eat in with my gf. We went on Saturday Night, Wilson the server was great, he recommended best dishes on the menu, and his service was top of the line. We sat in the lounge area, amazing decor and ambient. We will come back again!“

“This place is insanely good. Get the Bento box for lunch or the sampler chef choice. There are very high end options too, just ask. They have some Japanese grocery products as well. Just double check your dates on the products.
