“Really delicious sushis. It is my go-to. When I have exams or on my birthday, my mom surprises me with Sushiman sushi. Sushiman has become a special place to me because of the memories when I was gifted these sushis by my mom. The people who work here make it all the more special too. They are truly caring, welcoming, and sweet. The sushis are freshly made each day. Cleanliness is maintained.

My go-to sushi orders are "Crispy", "Crabe de Neige" (which is the same filling for Cripy sushi but the rice is inside rather than outside, "Salmon nigiris", "Avocado hosomaki", and recently I started liking the "Buddha wrap" and "Tuna tartare maki". In the picture I didn't order the previous 2 I mentioned but they're delicious.“

“This sushi spot is really good for a quiet dine in or takeout as their food is always on point and their Poké bowls are dare I say exquisite, lol.
I have tried their sushi in the past as well and it is equally as awesome as the poké bowl. The quality of their ingredients are amazing and is very fresh. I have never had a problem with their food, nor it's consistency in its flavor.

I am a regular at this place and I do always order the same exact poké bowl for myself as it is my favorite go to during or out of school lunch hours or as dinner after a long day :)
The staff, all of them are really kind and patient and you can't help but feel comfortable around them. If you have any questions about the menu they will kindly explain it to you so it makes sense afterwards.

If you feel up for anything related to sushi, whether that be on a Friday night after a long week of work or just something fresh to eat, I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.“

“Best value to price food near JGH. The size of onigiri is enough to fill you up. Flavours are definitely more skewed to Canadian palate, with some more “traditional” Japanese leaning choices. But definitelt gets the onigiri craving satisfied, and I’m glad we have a place like this in the neighborhood! I would make this my go to if I lived or worked in the area for satisfying quick bites.

“I went in because it looked empty and ordered my vegan bowl but it became clear after some waiting that the two guys working there were preparing other orders of people who already came and left and came back so it took over 30 minutes to receive my food. It was great and good value but don’t expect it to be a quick meal. Maybe they need more staff working at once. Their third staff came in later so maybe she just couldn’t make it earlier that day. That being said, the staff were chill and polite and the clientele were friendly. I’d return to try the onigris :)“

“This sushi place is like, the little bistro on the way home that you could expect some delightful comfort food. Over the years, there’s consistency in freshness of fish and quality of cut. It is not a fancy sushi place that makes “fusion” plates, more on the simple but having good standard in all little things side. There are hot dishes on the menu too (Udon, skewers). I’ve only ordered the sashimi or sushi box for take out.“
