“I called 10min before asked if terrace seating availability. And told them we were in construction cloths. They not only accepted us with welcome feeling but sat us down on the terrace. “Always a nostalgic meal at Chalet Bar-B-Q, a must-visit when we return home for comforting and familiar Montreal food, along with smoked meat and bagels, of course! The decor is dated but that is what makes it so charming. Chicken is always perfectly cooked – they are the only ones in Montreal still allowed to use charcoal, and their's is red cherrywood. It complete elevates the chicken. French fries are plentiful and perfect, especially with their nonstop supply of sauce. I want to also mention Tina, our server, who is joy personified and the most attentive waitperson imaginable. She took the best possible care of us and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces.“

“Visiting from NB and our cab driver recommended we try! We ordered the mixed plate with extra hummus, and halloumi plate. Everything was on point. Two of us could not finish the meal and had enough for both to eat for lunch the following day. Staff were friendly, environment was cozy. Highly recommend!“

“The food here was truly amazing. We had the raw halibut which was similar to a ceviche, the muscles with the salsa which were my favourite, pork and beef skewers, as well as three different salads, the green mint bean salad, the salad with mixed greens, as well as the zucchini salad. We also had the grilled arctic char and the lobster risotto. The risotto portion, I expected to be larger esp as a main, but with all the food we had, we were full.“

“Most hilarious time of my life. First try with a friend, side dishes are amazing we loved it and had to refill 3 times 💜 had hard time cutting the meat and a server had to stop and cut it for me without me asking... we were hopeless😅😅😅thank you for the super service and another lady server answered all our questions about the meats helpful and really nice lady👌im going back for sure!“

“No stars for the atmosphere, it was delivery. Very good Country burger (without lettuce because I don't like soft lettuce on delivery). The only thing I don't understand is who the chef at the head office had the idea of putting 3 pickles in this burger? The acidity of these leaves an unpleasant aftertaste even after removing them. But it was still very good.“

“Most authentic restaurant in the entourage. The food is delicious and yet affordable. their service is also top notch, I highly recommend! My personal favorite is their wonton soup, they make pork, shrimp and I think they can do a mix of both as well if you're not certain which one you want as they offered us last time!“

from the moment i walked by, the customer service was 💯 with answering all my questions so clearly, letting me try as many free samples (so generous of them) as i wanted before making a decision, and just being so awesome. 😎
don’t even get me started about their food!! EVERYTHING is SUCH high quality, delicious, and their portion sizes are so generous from their amazing staff!! 🤪 before i knew it when i began eating my meal, i was already done by how much i was enjoying it LOL

We chose from the 2 meals for 30$ special.
My wife ordered the chicken breast meal and I had the chicken poutine
The meals were served with a soft drink or coffee and had the choice of soup or coleslaw.
We both had the soup . Wow !!It was great , full of meat , celery and carrots. It was tasty, hot and delicious. A meal in itself.
The poutine was great , incredible amount of chicken breast and cheese. The chicken breast meal was good, meat was not dry at all and flavour full
