Le professionnalisme, la qualité des produits, la gentillesse, le prix et surtout le meilleur barbecue que nous avons mangé. Tous nos invités ont adoré. “I generally don’t like to complain, and in fact, this is the first bad restaurant review I have ever written. However, my experience with the management at La Milsa Laval was so predatory that I feel I have no choice but to warn others. We had a large booking of 23 people and paid a $500 deposit in advance. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, only 12 people were able to make it. While I understand that a change in group size can be an inconvenience, the restaurant’s response was completely unacceptable: They "stole" our $500 deposit and refused to credit a single cent of it toward our final bill. Essentially, we paid for our full meal on top of losing the $500, meaning the restaurant pocketed a massive amount of money for services and food they never provided. The Legal Issue To the management: You should be aware of Quebec’s Consumer Protection laws regarding "No-Show" fees and deposits. In Quebec, it is generally considered illegal for a restaurant to charge a "no-show" fee or withhold a deposit unless a specific contract was signed that meets very strict criteria—and even then, the amount must represent actual damages, not a flat-rate penalty. Taking $500 for 11 missing people while 12 others are still sitting there paying full price is a blatant violation of consumer rights. We were looking forward to a great night, but instead, we left feeling cheated. I strongly recommend avoiding this location for large groups unless you want to risk losing hundreds of dollars. We will befiling a formal complaint with the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC). Quebec“

“Had an amazing experience at Gia Vin & Grill. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and the restaurant is in a nice quiet area which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. Everything we ordered was great, but the tiramisu is a must have; the best I’ve had in Montreal so far. Highly recommend!“

“Very vibey inside like you're in a street market in Asia. Also each table feels a little intimate in setting and there are wall separators so it's not too loud.
Each table has a range hood it's not too loud and it's super efficient I didn't come out with my clothes or hair smelling. You get a bunch of side dishes you can refill unlimited and the food was all really good. Our bibimbap bowl didn't have the crust at the bottom but they corrected the issue. The meat all tasted really good. We also ordered a marinated meat but got the unmarinated and was charged unmarinated meat so nbd but I would say to double check your order to be sure it's what you got and up to your standard. They're accommodating.
Service was great, you can flag down any server and ask for what you need.
We got the short ribs, pork Jowl, pork shoulder. All delicious, different, tender. Various sauces too. Next time, I'd probably not get the bibimbap and just more meat.“

“Visiting from NB and our cab driver recommended we try! We ordered the mixed plate with extra hummus, and halloumi plate. Everything was on point. Two of us could not finish the meal and had enough for both to eat for lunch the following day. Staff were friendly, environment was cozy. Highly recommend!“

“This particular location has very little atmosphere as it's located in the food court of les galeries d'anjou, so don't take that as a negative against the restaurant itself. For the food, the veggies are always fresh crunchy, the sauces are each unique and tasty and the bases are a good addition. However, quite often the chicken is over cooked and on the dry, tough side, rather than tender. The sauces used to flavour the chicken are hit and miss as far as actually being able to taste the differences between them. On the upside, the service is always quick and efficient. When there's a queue, you won't be waiting long.“

“To have the best well done chicken that actually is made fresh with great taste and juiciness, you will have to wait about an hour, but it is worth it.
You guys have to understand how hard these ladies work in a small kitchen with charcoals and keep oiling and looking over the meat

“I’ve always been a fan of Scores and enjoyed their generous and delicious food at several of their locations. In my opinion the one the offers the absolute BEST service by far is Scores Chomedey (corner St-Martin). Their hostess, all their servers and even the owner always all make me feel so welcome! Whether it’s a casual lunch or dinner or when I reserved their party room for my family events the food and service was IMPECCABLE !!
Sadly we don’t find this level of experience often enough these days, and I wanted to take the time to express my appreciation for my amazing experience cheers to a perfect “score” for Scores Chomedey!

“I ordered via doordash. The Pork BBQ was delicious! Not too sweet and melts on your mouth. Perfect ratio of fat and meat. The order is also generous got the combo Pork BBQ and Rosted Pork. The combo order is good for 2 people unless you eat a lot, but it doesn't matter. I was planning to eat just half and save the other half for dinnner, but it was so good I ended up cleaning the plate LOL.“
