“My second time in less then a month (May & June 2023). The portion is huge, the quality is excellent. We took the Mega meal at 199.99$CAD (Mega family portion) with calamari plate at 17.99$CAD... everything was excellent or great. Hope they will continuted those portion & be honnest in their price. It's a must to go. They have much other things in their menu at 20$CAD or more... fo my case, it was a birthday issue (small group). It's a ***** (5 stars) for sure :)“

“We took our son and wife for their b/days on Sat. Oct 4 2025. No waiting, Place clean, ambience good, waiter great. It was our 1st time and in general the food was very good,(filet mignon, done to taste, Salmon, fries ,which were dry, tasteless and cold. Frozen fries are way tastier at the fast food restaurants; McDonald's, Harveys, A+W. etc. With a restaurant of this calibre we certainly expected fresh fries. It really spoiled our dinner, as we all chose fries with our meals. It's nearly insulting. If you don't have the facilities to offer fresh fries, then just serve baked or mashed. Sorry! it really left us with a bd taste in our mouths. Will we go again??? Not so sure! Sadly! P.S the stars are not right. Overall 4 stars, Food is 4 stars, service is 5 stars and atmosphere is 5 stars“

“I found this place while staying at a hotel nearby. I wanted a quick light dinner. I cannot read the French menu, however the owner was quite helpful. I chose the Tuna Poke bowl which was quite delicious with very fresh ingredients! I finished every last bite of that bowl and now wish I would of purchased a second one of salmon! Next time I'm back in town I will support this business again!“

The front desk staff gave me your card as i was raving about our amazing dinner last night!

I wanted to express my pleasant surprise with an unconventional and unexpectedly superior culinary experience for a hotel restaurant.

I had the salmon which was artfully presented and tasted delicious with each bite bringing a new delight.

My hubby had the pork cassoulet with sweet potato and salad. He said it was a perfect portion and so unique with the thin crisp sweet potatoes on top. He’s a pilot and has eaten in his share of airport hotel restaurants .

We both had the tiki semaphore cocktail 🍹 which brought us both back to the Tiki lounge in Waikiki! Thanks for the mini vacation in every sip!

The service was amazing! Everyone was extra professional and well trained for a 5 star experience.

We look forward to our next meal at Semaphore and would actually plan and recommend an outing there to local friends and family.

“It was a Christmas Dinner and as such the restaurant was packed. Service was slow as a result. Not the fault of the waitresses, they were rushing about as fast as they can. Management should have foreseen this and hired one or two more staff. Food was decidedly different. Not purely Italian pasta or pizza...I can't place it, but I was just in Lake Como and Milan last week, and food did not taste like this.“

“I went with a friend and we had a wonderful time. I had the fish and chips which was very good. I loved the ambiance, we had a great spot with a lovely view of the water. It was one of the hottest days of the summer but the patio was perfectly shaded. The staff we interacted with were all so very nice. I would definitely go back. No, it's not a fancy restaurant with fancy food, but our experience was wonderful.

“We are great fans of the Imperial restaurant. We love to go for Dim Sum and their dumplings are very plump filled with yummy goodness. We also adore their sticky rice. We tend to go first thing in the morning and there is always space. The staff are pleasant and service is very fast. We received our order 7 minutes after placing it online using the code on our table. We recommend the Imperial for Dim Sum fans in the West Island as we are loyal customers who are so happy they are here.“
