“Service was impeccable. We sat at the bar - the bartender (David) was knowledgeable, friendly, excellent. He seemed too be the busiest person in the restaurant, yet always had a moment to check on us - I have no complaints - our meal was superb - although I might say the desert was "ordinary" while our entree and main courses were superb - I had the swordfish, my wife the black cod. A bit pricey, yet, the ambience, service and flavourful meal give reason for this.“
“I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!! The Gnocchi was unlike any we had ever had and the herb oil drizzle highlighted the perfect texture and flavour of the gnocchi. The deconstructed Caesar was perfect!! We finished the meal off with the Maple Creme Brûlée. The entire staff were friendly supportive and knowledgeable from the moment we walked in!! C’est Manifique!! Bravo!!!“
“Everything was terrific, which was, of course, expected. Our server, I believe Gabriel from other reviews, was fabulous, friendly, and super attentive. No question was too much; every teammate we encountered was on point and super invested in the success of our meal. I cannot wait to be back.This is a bucket list project, and I have waited pre-pandemic for this one, and it did not disappoint. I will be making the frisee salad very soon; what a lovely surprise in taste for a simple starter salad. Every dish and drink was perfect. Merci, gentlemen.“

“Been to quite a few steak houses in Montreal. With marketing, very difficult to tell the tourist trap from great food till it’s over. The Keg, has never let me down. Service is always 100%. Even with a full front of house, the kitchen has your food out in a VERY reasonable time. Fresh baked bread, great drinks, awesome prime rib, the wedge salad is perfect. Every bite shows the same temp, no black but raw in the middle. It’s shows the streak was cooked low and slow, you can’t fake that, it’s not possible. It also shows they care.“
“I think I kind of understand why it is not rated higher than it currently is (4.2 at the time of writing) as it can be a bit loud at times and service is maybe not on the level of expensive 5 star restaurants to say the least (sometimes a bit slow), but don't get me wrong, it's amazing. Seafood is fresh, the menu is quite extensive and creative, and everything tastes really good. Well balanced, well seasoned, would definitely come again to try the rest of their menu.“
