“J'ai eu le plaisir de séjourner deux jours au magnifique Hôtel Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, et ma soirée du samedi 2 Mars au Restaurant Chaplain restera gravée dans ma mémoire. Je tiens à exprimer ma gratitude envers M. Eric, le Manager, pour son accueil exceptionnellement chaleureux et professionnel. Un grand merci également à Caroline, notre serveuse attentive, qui a veillé sur nous tout au long de la soirée et nous a guidés dans notre choix du Menu Signature. L'expérience culinaire était tout simplement divine, sublimée par une ambiance des plus agréables. Pour couronner le tout, notre soirée s'est achevée par des digestifs au Bar 1608, ajoutant une note parfaite à notre expérience mémorable. Je recommande vivement l'Hôtel Fairmont Le Château Frontenac et le Restaurant Chaplain à tous ceux qui recherchent une expérience gastronomique exceptionnelle dans un cadre enchanteur. “The experience was lovely. However both my husband and I were surprised by the quality of the hanger steak. It had tough connective fibers which made it difficult. The taste of all of the food was delicious!:) the environment and the service were lovely.“

“Amazing delicious food.
My server helped me find the best option with some serious dietary restrictions (no tomato, dairy or gluten). This was very welcomed and the pizza we picked was so good and fresh.
The only downside was the wooden bench seating which wasn’t so comfortable. Great place overall. I would definitely come back.“

“Anne Sophie is a pure joy to have as a server. She's pleasant, polite, checks in regularly, and goes above her duties to ensure the visit is as agreeable as possible. She made my birthday outing that much more enjoyable! The food was good as usual (however, the fries were a little cold). But all in all, it was a great visit.“

“We visited Sept 21, 2025 for dinner. It was absolutely perfect. The location in the old port area was vibrant and beautiful. The service was great and the food was creative and exceeded our already high expectations based on other reviews. I was hesitant to go there because I’m not a big fan of rabbit, their specialty, but I gave it a try. We had the rabbit rillettes appetizer and rabbit pot pie and rabbit poutine for mains. It was all just amazing! The atmosphere on the heated porch was cozy too! La pin Sauté gets my highest recommendation!“

Both the food and drinks are spectacular, and the service is equally fantastic.
The fresh and thoughtful ingredients made for the best pizza we have ever had in our lives.🍕 The crust was the the foundation of perfection that persisted throughout the whole pizza. They offer an extensive and unique drink menu and I personally loved the delightfully refreshing non-alcoholic house juice that was hand mixed at the bar.
To top it all off, our charming server was kind and helpful from the moment we stepped through the door. 🧑🏻💼
I hope we have the pleasure and opportunity to eat here again. They should have as many Michelin stars as this review. Life changing. It was seriously that good. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“

“It is such a special treat to have Celiac Disease and be able to enjoy a completely gluten free restaurant. The ambience is also very lovely at Veravin 2.0 - it is a cute little restaurant on the lower ramparts of Quebec. The entire menu is homemade, gluten free, and lactose free. I have been multiple times and had 2 of the 4 delicious gluten free beers on tap - Alchimiste, and the Monaco cocktail. The food is incredible: the onion rings with honey🤤, fish'n chips, mini corn dogs, cheese sticks, beet carpaccio, karaage style chicken, apple walnut salad, chocolate cake, and creme brûlée. The meals come out fresh & piping hot, though the wait can be a bit long when it is busy. Be sure to make a reservation with libro or you could have a long wait!“

“Great location, we tried 4 beers and each one was a faithful example of the style. I particularly liked the 'Vision' New England Pale Ale (5.5%) and the New Zealand IPA was also very good. Service was friendly and attentive, and we would say the food menu has something for everyone. And great value too, so we are happy to recommend 👍“

“Having had the pleasure of dining at several establishments in the vicinity, I must express that this restaurant has truly been the most exceptional of them all.
Despite our arrival less than an hour before closing, it made no difference; they served us with utmost courtesy and did not make us feel rushed in any way.
The homemade boudin and steak tartare were particularly delightful. Our order consisted of two tartares, one boudin, and two beverages, and the total, inclusive of gratuity, amounted to 101, which seemed quite reasonable considering the quality of the fare.
I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone in the area; the food is fresh, homemade, and prepared with genuine warmth.♥️“

“Very good Shish Taouk, fresh pita, excellent chicken, freshly cut on the doner. A real delight!!! Garlic mayonnaise and a little touch of parsley.
The service is impeccable, polite, smiling staff. Everything is done on an assembly line but harmoniously, it's impressive to see them work in this way. They switch roles, but all the while knowing what the customer wants!!! They are very attentive!!!
