“We stumbled into Cochon Dingue on a lazy Sunday morning with a group of friends, and the sunny terrace overlooking the St. Lawrence River made it the perfect spot to linger over brunch. I ordered the eggs benedict and they were genuinely flawless, hollandaise rich and perfectly balanced without being heavy. The service was warm and attentive even though the place was packed, which honestly impressed us all. If you haven't made this a Sunday morning tradition yet, you're seriously missing out.“

“Had a birthday dinner with my spouse and daughter, food was excellent but we were really disappointed with the level of service. We were seated in the back with a large group that was arriving and service quality was there but were forgotten. We felt we spent the whole night waiting. We had 2 courses and were there from 7:30 to 9;45. Waited almost half an hour before even getting our order. Disappointed as this was highly recommended by friends. I am hoping this is a one off experience.“

“We celebrated my birthday at Légende and it was everything I hoped for. The ambiance was exactly my style, cozy and unfussy, which made the whole evening feel comfortable and special. We chose the tasting menu with the non‑alcoholic pairing, and every dish was perfect. The quality, the flavors, the creativity and everything was completely and solely delicious. Truly worth it. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Justine, who surprised me with a small salty treat they made as a birthday gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the night unforgettable. My husband and I left with full hearts and happy memories. Thank you, Légende, for an exceptional experience.“

“Delicious authentic Neapolitan pizza! Crust and dough were perfect, toppings were simple but classic. Ordered the Funghi, the Prosciutto e Rucola, the Greenpoint, and the Carciofo e Prosciutto Cotto. The Funghi was undoubtedly the most flavorful and was everyone’s favorite. Got the pizza delivered so can’t speak to service and atmosphere (or price), but would certainly recommend!“

“We had an amazing dinner here the other night. Alberto took such amazing care of us. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked table side to perfection and my husband had the lobster bisque to start which was so-so, but the Lobster Thermadtor for his main knocked his socks off. The prices are so reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend.“

“This Black Cat is full of reasons for a visit. I came for the beverages. A nearly full place showed that locals come for delicious foods that pair with their long list of beers, cocktails, and wines. So much to taste here. Very friendly bartenders, a big screen on with the soccer world cup, doesn't get better than that.“

“We visited Sept 21, 2025 for dinner. It was absolutely perfect. The location in the old port area was vibrant and beautiful. The service was great and the food was creative and exceeded our already high expectations based on other reviews. I was hesitant to go there because I’m not a big fan of rabbit, their specialty, but I gave it a try. We had the rabbit rillettes appetizer and rabbit pot pie and rabbit poutine for mains. It was all just amazing! The atmosphere on the heated porch was cozy too! La pin Sauté gets my highest recommendation!“

“Highly recommended for gluten free pizza, which was exceptional and the server assured me they took precautions taken to prepare it and cook separately on its own tray. For a gluten free dough the crust was crispy with a lovely spongey interior, remarkable work by their chefs (and I’ve had a lot of gluten free pizza in Italy to judge). I hope one day the tiramisu is gluten free also so I can try that!“

“I visited this restaurant four times during my stay in Quebec city and never was disappointed. Excellent, attentive service and fantastic customer centric attitude.
The breakfast offerings are varied and accommodate food, allergies. The dinner offerings were also excellent and fantastic service to go along with it. Nice cocktails, and experienced staff.
Price is reasonable and in line with their offering.
Truly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.“

“Came here last Friday with a few friends after a long week and honestly it was exactly what we needed. The salmon tataki was incredible, super fresh and beautifully plated, the kind of dish you end up talking about on the drive home. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, kept the sake recommendations coming and made the whole evening feel effortless. If you're looking for a solid sushi spot in Quebec City for a relaxed night out, Eddie is absolutely worth it.“
