“Fillet mignon with peppercorn gravy was outstanding - the best I’ve ever had. Sweet potato fries were great. Roasted vegetables were enjoyable but had started to cool off by the time they arrived at the table. The Cajun shrimp had also started to cool off, which was disappointing. The nachos my wife and I shared as an appetizer were very good. Dessert was excellent. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and our visit. The decor in the bar area was eclectic and fun and our waiter was attentive and friendly.“

“From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the very friendly, completely bilingual staff. Great variety on the menu with something for everyone. Our food arrived very quickly, prepared perfectly. We will be coming back this way on our trip, and although we will be staying at a different hotel, we will likely come back here.

“A wonderful experience. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent—thoughtfully crafted with fresh and delicious ingredients. We had the oysters, moussaka and homemade pasta and all of them were superb. Great music, beautiful atmosphere, cozy and convivial. Highly recommend. Note that the expense per person includes two mains, one shared dessert (crème brûlée—excellent) 2 high-quality beers and a glass of pinot noir plus tip.“

“This restaurant instantly became one of my favorites. I had the Vegana Piccante, and it was one of the best vegan pizzas I've had at a restaurant. The fagioli salad was also super fresh and flavorful. The staff were kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. An all-around lovely place. I’ll definitely visit again next time I'm in the city :)“

“If you want to impress, it’s definitely the place to be, especially if you love meat. The service is truly 5 star, very attentive from start to finish.
Everything we tried was delicious: foie gras, escargots, Chateaubriand, and crêpes Suzette. The flambé presentation is a really nice touch and makes the experience special.
The atmosphere isn’t modern, but that’s part of the charm, with white tablecloths and staff in white blazers, it feels like stepping back in time. Highly recommend for a special occasion.
I would definitely come back without hesitation!“

“This is my family's favorite restaurant in Quebec city. We have been coming to this establishment for 7 years. The food is excellent!! Our favorite is the burrata, cesear salad and their pizzas. The one with spicy honey is amazing!! We will continue coming during every vacation.“

“We visited Sept 21, 2025 for dinner. It was absolutely perfect. The location in the old port area was vibrant and beautiful. The service was great and the food was creative and exceeded our already high expectations based on other reviews. I was hesitant to go there because I’m not a big fan of rabbit, their specialty, but I gave it a try. We had the rabbit rillettes appetizer and rabbit pot pie and rabbit poutine for mains. It was all just amazing! The atmosphere on the heated porch was cozy too! La pin Sauté gets my highest recommendation!“

“We liked it very much. The beers are truly exceptional. The service is good, but the main issue is that there isn’t enough staff for the number of customers. You sometimes have to wait until someone notices you or remind them that you’re there. That said, it’s a great place for gatherings, and the menu is diverse enough for everyone to find something they like.“

“I visited this restaurant four times during my stay in Quebec city and never was disappointed. Excellent, attentive service and fantastic customer centric attitude.
The breakfast offerings are varied and accommodate food, allergies. The dinner offerings were also excellent and fantastic service to go along with it. Nice cocktails, and experienced staff.
Price is reasonable and in line with their offering.
Truly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.“

“The atmosphere was really great. Lights were not too bright nor too dark. The music in the background was loud enough, we were definitely able to hear each other talking.
I ordered the chicken noodle soup, which was delicious, but the only thing was that is wasn't really hot. Could've been warmer. But the taste was pretty good!!
As for the sushis I got the California roll, the salmon Kamikaze ( temaki), i gotta say, the fish there was really fresh. It was melting and was tasteful! I also got the flying fish roe and scallops gunkan which was delicious and big pieces.
As for my last sushi i got soya making with scallops tartare, crab, avocado, cucumber and tempura; the taste was really good, but the only unfortunate thing, is that the sushi cost 19$ for 4 pieces. It is really pricy and in my opinion, it is way too expensive.
Otherwise than this, the whole experience was really great! I do recommend this place!! 😀“
