“I had an evening meal here while on a business trip to Levis. I ordered the beef tenderloin skewer plate with a glass of Pinot Noir. For desert I enjoyed the New York cheese cake (raspberry). All the food was absolutely excellent! I ordered the beef medium rare and all the pieces on the skewer were absolutely medium rare! The accompaniments were great as well. The caesar salad was made with a light dressing, not overpowering like many I have had before. The service was top notch. I was not hurried so I could relax and enjoy my meal. The waiter was always there when I needed him. Overall topnotch snd highly recommended. Other people must agree with me as the parking lot was very full. Reservations would be recommended.“

I ordered the eggs benedict and they were genuinely flawless, hollandaise rich and perfectly balanced without being heavy. “Delicious authentic Neapolitan pizza! Crust and dough were perfect, toppings were simple but classic. Ordered the Funghi, the Prosciutto e Rucola, the Greenpoint, and the Carciofo e Prosciutto Cotto. The Funghi was undoubtedly the most flavorful and was everyone’s favorite. Got the pizza delivered so can’t speak to service and atmosphere (or price), but would certainly recommend!“

“Our fantastic dining experience began as soon as we walked in the door. We were greeted at the door and welcomed. All of the restaurant staff that saw us welcomed us and made us feel like we were regulars, even though this was our first visit. We ordered wine from the by-the-glass list; there was a very diverse list of wines and all of the wines on the list were very highly rated and the wine we had lived up to its very high rating. I also had the bartender make me a custom mocktail that was very good.
My main course, veal. was prepared in the kitchen and my spouse’s steak was prepared tableside. Both were prepared beautifully and exactly as requested. The waiters were very attentive, but did not hover. Nabil, our waiter, made sure he understood our orders and requests and made sure that everything was done perfectly. The restaurant was obviously an older establishment but was spotlessly clean with very comfortable furniture and furnishings. Prices were higher than average, but not exorbitant and what one would expect for the exceptional service and food quality provided.“

“We visited Sept 21, 2025 for dinner. It was absolutely perfect. The location in the old port area was vibrant and beautiful. The service was great and the food was creative and exceeded our already high expectations based on other reviews. I was hesitant to go there because I’m not a big fan of rabbit, their specialty, but I gave it a try. We had the rabbit rillettes appetizer and rabbit pot pie and rabbit poutine for mains. “Noctem was the first place we visited after arriving in Quebec City by train from Montreal 🚆, and it proved to be an excellent introduction to the city 🍔.

It was the perfect place to settle in with a vegan burger 🌱 and a beer 🍺. I chose a pale ale, and it was great to be able to see the beer being brewed in the microbrewery while we were eating ⚙️.

One of the more entertaining aspects of the visit was the cat-themed references throughout the venue 🐱. I never quite worked out the story behind them, but they certainly added character to the experience 😺.

The service was extremely friendly 😊, and the staff switched seamlessly between French and English 🇫🇷🇬🇧 to make sure we were fully looked after.

Between the brewery setting, good food, enjoyable beer, and welcoming service, Knox made a very strong first impression of Quebec City ✨.

The breakfast offerings are varied and accommodate food, allergies. The dinner offerings were also excellent and fantastic service to go along with it. Nice cocktails, and experienced staff.
Price is reasonable and in line with their offering.

“I have very few complaints for this restaurant. I go there a few times a year for dinner during the week when I go to the office. The service has always been good. I recommend their veggie burgers even if you're not (I'm not). I haven't tried the vegan ones but the vegetarian ones have been there for a few years.“
