“The meals were hot. The fries cooked well without asking. The little play area was useful for the children while they waited for the meal.

“I generally don’t like to complain, and in fact, this is the first bad restaurant review I have ever written. However, my experience with the management at La Milsa Laval was so predatory that I feel I have no choice but to warn others. We had a large booking of 23 people and paid a $500 deposit in advance. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, only 12 people were able to make it. While I understand that a change in group size can be an inconvenience, the restaurant’s response was completely unacceptable: They "stole" our $500 deposit and refused to credit a single cent of it toward our final bill. Essentially, we paid for our full meal on top of losing the $500, meaning the restaurant pocketed a massive amount of money for services and food they never provided. The Legal Issue To the management: You should be aware of Quebec’s Consumer Protection laws regarding "No-Show" fees and deposits. In Quebec, it is generally considered illegal for a restaurant to charge a "no-show" fee or withhold a deposit unless a specific contract was signed that meets very strict criteria—and even then, the amount must represent actual damages, not a flat-rate penalty. Taking $500 for 11 missing people while 12 others are still sitting there paying full price is a blatant violation of consumer rights. We were looking forward to a great night, but instead, we left feeling cheated. I strongly recommend avoiding this location for large groups unless you want to risk losing hundreds of dollars. We will befiling a formal complaint with the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC). Quebec“

“I had the opportunity to discover this place through Uber eats. I ordered lunch for work. It is an amazing find. The food was delicious, the portions are huge for the prices. And the service was pretty fast. Flat boneless chicken can be shared between 3 people easily. The pita sandwiches are way better than your typical franchise. Filled enough but not too filling.“

“Galo is a beautiful gem of the Town of Mount Royal. The owners are wonderful and take care of their clients impeccably. I’ve tasted many things here including the grilled octopus, the mixed meat platter and the chicken sandwich! All were delicious! I enjoy their outdoor terrace especially!“

“The bacon Caesar wrap never disappoints. It’s loaded with chicken that doesn’t taste dry, bacon bits, and a soft tortilla. It easily keeps me full for several hours.
It comes with gravy, coleslaw salad, and your choice of fries or rice.“

“Our waitress, Elizabeth, was polite but appeared to be in a rush to get us out. We didn't get a break between the salad bar and our main dish.
We'll return because the food was great and the salad bar had a vaste variety.“
“What a gem of a place, ou won't go wrong. It's simply perfect if you love lebanese food. Always fresh and delicious, the service is also great, have been here 3 times an they are consistent with their quality and service. I recommend the sharing menu so you get to taste a bit of everything but it's all wonderful. Yummm!“

“overall very good service. the young girls working there are always very friendly and incredibly generous with their service and servings. i enjoy ordering the soup there. its incredibly good and always comes fresh and the portions are quite good for the price. i try to go there weekly when i want a good chicken noodle soup. its much better than most places and the service is quite fast and efficient and usually doesnt get too busy like other places where you need to be waiting non stop for a fast food place to be served.“

“Meal taken on August 31 around 1:00 p.m. Wow! The waitress should clone herself because I have rarely seen service with such politeness and know-how. An educated and organized waitress VERY RARE these days.
Table service is REALLY pitiful in many places, even in supposedly high-standard restaurants.
As far as I am concerned, my meal was very good and for the price paid the portion was more than sufficient.“
