“I ate Chez Kim every Friday evening from the age of 5 until I was 12 and it is one of my best childhood memories. It's the best Vietnamese restaurant by far and not just in Laval, since I moved to Gatineau I go back there as often as possible because it's so good compared to what we have here. Always great service, the food is super hot and delicious. Plus the owner is super nice and she’s the one who serves us every time, always happy to see her again :)“

“I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to this restaurant.
I am a regular at Vietnamese restaurants and it is often quite the same from one restaurant to another.
I ordered a Combo C (Grilled Beef and Chicken) but this time I found everything to be really delicious, a cut above the others.
Even dessert, fried pineapple, usually at others, there is a scoop of ice cream by default, but at La Perle, no ice cream, just two donuts in syrup.
Well despite that, it's the best pineapple donut I've tasted in this type of restaurant.
The service was courteous and fast. Nothing to complain about.“

“This is a small family own restaurant. The wood was amazingly fragrant and delicious! And traditional Vietnamese soups are their specialty (sushi and grills were also delicious). But soups are the bombs ? Definitely will be back or order take out“

“I got lost looking for another pho place and found this one. I was lucky because this was actually a nice find, service was great and the food came really quickly and hot. Pleasantly surprised that tax is already included in the menu prices. Will come back again.“

“Delicious hu tiu nam vang at a great price. The tea that is brought to the table when you first sit down is lovely and tastes like pandan. The restaurant was totally full when we walked in but tables turn over quickly. We were in and out in around 40min. Will definitely return when in Montreal again“

“Been living around here for ten years and went to many Thai restaurants but this is hands down the best pho I’ve ever had. Not only is it quick but it’s so delicious. They also have many different option for all Thai food lovers. I highly recommend.“

“Wow I just discovered the best Vietnamese restaurant….so warm welcome and service, the food is like tasting heaven with every bite wow and re wow and what's more it's a bring your own wine…this restaurant is really worth the detour because we let's leave from the north and I can't wait to go back...Sunday evening there were 7 of us and we were all of the same opinion...see you soon“

“Really tasty broth! I could sip on this broth all day! The noodles were good and the meat was nice and tender. Service was immediate and friendly. As for the atmosphere, it's an average restaurant in a strip mall on a busy street. Clean and quiet, but nothing very outstanding.“

“One of most honest pho in the whome city. Their broth is delicous and of the most quality bones. I notice my take-away broth keeps the consistent gel-like texture that is similar to my family home-made pho. They are also very generous with the meat in the bowl. Please keep your generosity!“

The portions are exceptionally generous and the service is impeccable.
However, the smell of bathroom cleaner is somewhat overpowering.

“I've personally been to Vietnam, and the soups are authentic Vietnamese. If you're looking for a well seasoned and slightly spicy soup, the Tom yum options are the one. No need to add spices, or sauces. Its perfect the way it is. And I'm very sensitive to spices, so it's just the right spice.Great place to go when you've got a cold and need a good soup.“

“Thanks to Bianca for her efficiency, empathy, kindness and without forgetting her remarkable team who were present and helpful while a stupid unusual accident took place when my friend literally choked by eating too quickly and his food content had been stuck for a long time before the paramedics arrived.
Good news, everything was dislodged very quickly with the intervention of the doctor on site.
Restaurant A1 I award it the humanitarian palme d’or and a 10/10 for table service as well as the food.
