“This cute cozy café is located in the heart of old port and is a perfect spot to grab desserts/small sandwiches to go or sit down and enjoy your coffee, dessert or breakfast sandwich. They open at 6am, so perfectly suitable for early birds. The staff are very nice and friendly; they made special cold drinks for us and recommended best options to eat.We tried their Tiramisu, Nutella-Cookie and Pistachio Bombolini. My favorite was Nutella-Cookie; I will always come back to try more.“

“The atmosphere was instantly welcoming with Diba and her father asking us about our days and giving us a run down of the cafe. Her mother's cakes, especially the pistachio cake, were heavenly. My boyfriend loved them so much that he expects to have them every time he comes back. The persian latte and the persian fog were decorated with love and have notes of pistachio and saffron.I am definitely going to try everything on the menu, but I just had to write this review because I felt that I had found a gem.“

“One of my favorite cafes in this city. They make the absolute best coffees and even the decaf is amazing! Super fun italian coffee bar style with retro vibes. Very unique and non boring for a change in this city. The staff are all super kind in a great mood! Their deserts are to die for! I highly recommend it if you want a unique experience, good mood, and disconnect from your phone and actually talk with humans. Thank you Caffettiera for opening your doors to us!“

My cappuccino was excellent and the barista’s latte art skills were top-notch. Stop here if you’re in the area, you won’t regret it!“

“This property definitely deserves to call itself an espresso bar because the coffee quality is excellent. I had a delicious biscuit-like cookie which was a perfect pair for my very well prepared triple espresso Americano. I also ordered a panini to take out. This is a great place for those looking for an alternative to the coffee franchise experience. I was there in the early morning looking for a place to work before the public libraries opened. It's got a neighborhood feel as there was a steady stream of locals coming in and chatting amiably with the staff as they waited for their order. I actually got involved in a rather enjoyable and unexpected short discussion with staff and another customer about the meaning of umami. ?The regulars seemed concerned about how the road construction would affect the viability of this and other businesses on this stretch of Queen Mary Road.. This property deserves to be supported in any way to get past that possible disruption. One thing I would recommend is to have more plugs to power devices. I don't think customers will abuse that privilege and linger overly long. I was personally aware not to over-stay.“

“Suchhh good matcha ice cream! I was also pleasantly surprised by their other desserts (roll cake) and food (soba noodles and salmon bowl). I'm actually sad I found this on my last day in Montreal because I would have definitely made multiple visits had I discovered this spot earlier! Very cozy seating, saw many people work on laptops on the upper level. We grabbed a seat at a table and had an outlet right next to us. Super friendly and welcoming service. Would recommend to anyone who loves matcha!“

“You know the coffee is going to be amazing when the barista refuses to serve the first batch of espresso they made because it wasn't up to their standard, and then remakes the coffee. Probably the best coffee I have had in the city, I only wish the place was a little bigger.“

“We took an afternoon, walk to go and grab a coffee somewhere and found this little gem. The coffee is quite tasty and the view is very nice. It’s just in front of Place des Arts. Delicious drinks, in a very nice part of the city.Parking: Depending on the time of day and the day of the week, you may be able to find street parking on Ontario Street, Saint Laurent Street and since you are close to the main attractions, there are also interior parking spaces around“

“Yet another amazing dinner at Dinette Marcella. We sat at the bar, giving us an opportunity to try some amazing cocktails while chatting with the bartender. The food was outstanding, especially the creamy mushroom gnocchi. This is my second time visiting Marcella while on holiday in Montreal. I look forward to coming back again soon.“

“Fantastic food and coffee served here. Both the chicken and salmon avotoast were delicious, and came in big portions so you get your money's worth. The desserts were also tasty. The cafe itself is located in arguably one of the nicest buildings I have ever visited for a cafe. The decor and ambience are top notch! It may be difficult to find seating if you get there after 9AM as the cafe fills up quickly.“

“Japanese vibe coffee. Music is beautiful and relaxing. Excellent service. We had two iced specials (Matcha Sakura and Hojicha Lavender), the black sesame cake, miso brownie, sencha madeleine, earl grey donut and matcha donut. We also had two hot drinks: matcha latte and hot chocolate hojicha. Everything was great, taste is delicate and refined. Highly recommend this place.“

“Very good latte, the notes are potent and you can choose light or dark roast espresso. Scones are nice and crunchy. The latte does get a bit cold quickly which is fine for me cause I like to drink it fast and not too hot, but would have liked a heads up cause I wouldn’t have waited to drink it :)“

“One of the best ice cream places in montreal, the sundae has a delicious, rich and fresh feeling to it, the syrups add the perfect flavor without being too sweet. My personal recommendation would be the “sirop d’erable et noix”(maple syrup and walnut) sundae, which is the perfect swirl of a variety of flavors that are the perfect combo to end an amazing sunday in old port“
“Coffee and food are top notch, servers are excellent. The atmosphere is difficult - it is quite small and when I was there was very quiet - everybody could hear every word of our conversation - no privacy. It’s beautifully designed though.“

“We are from the US and were visiting friends in the Verdun neighborhood and happened to walk by Pavillon Snack Bar. We stopped and ate a late lunch. The place has a nice local vibe, super friendly folks, good local beer on tap, coffee made with attention and the crispy chili egg toast is a must! The breakfast burrito is top notch too! If those 2 dishes are any indication, the rest of the menu must be incredible. I highly recommend.“

“A very whimsical and cozy place where in summer, you can enjoy a seat outdoors with a very decent cup of coffee (only 3 milk options), homemade baked goods, sandwiches, soup, salads, chilli and more. Sometimes they have gluten-free, vegan options. The only thing is they don’t have their lunch “service” figured out too well. Those who wish to order to-go and those who take a seat to dine in and those who wait at the door to be assigned a seat. No direction given which often leads to chaos of some being served immediately and others having to wait over 35 minutes before even spoken to hence, my rating. The staff is pleasant and kind and seem to enjoy working here. Some really care about their customers too which is refreshing. So, the only thing that would make this gorgeous gem take a step up in its category , I would personally suggest, is for the management giving clear directions when it comes to the client service during lunch to not raise any further people complain as I have witnessed during my time spent there.Otherwise, I recommend 100%.“

“You won't find a better cafe in Montreal. Friendly, quirky, and comfortable. The food menu looks amazing. We came for coffee and ended up with some of the best coffee anywhere in the city. “I had Uncle T. last week and found it way both too sweet and too salty. This, on the other hand, hits the spot. It is perfect. If you know German Käsekuchen--the original inspiration for Japanese-style cheesecake--and soufflé, then this is the perfect meeting of the two. While they are not cheap, they are worthwhile. (I had a plain cheesecake).“

“I visited this coffee shop four times during a week stay in old Montreal. The coffee (I got flat whites) was consistently very good. The service was always friendly. They serve oat milk as a default (though regular milk is also an option) at no extra charge. I very much appreciate their effort in helping us all shift towards more sustainable choices by making them both affordable and delicious. Good looking pastries too!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian savory scones and one of two sandwich options is vegetarian.“

“South American coffee. There is no flat white, but there is Cafe con leite, Espresso Longo, etc. Personally, I don't like American coffee, so I was quite satisfied with this coffee shop. Next time, I plan to try dessert. Coffee is pretty good. The quality is good and there is no unpleasant taste at the end, it is quite clean. The latte art is also quite good. Personally, I really liked the atmosphere of the cafe, and it is a delight to the eyes as it is full of amateur artist works. If it were really close to my house, I would go there often. A recommended coffee shop with reasonable prices.Parking: Free street parking is available nearby.“

“GREAT GREAT VIBE to work or catch up with a friend. Tables are close to each other but the space is open and airy. Different kinds of sittings, tables, counter tops/bars. Lots of plugs and ports to charge your device addiction.Table service is nice to have. Better than waiting at the bar for someone to yell your name wrong and spell it even worst and hand you an charred bean drink. Here the review of the reason you may want to go to a coffee shop... the brews and espresso drinks are great here. Loved my cortado! Perfect steamed milk for a smooth and still strong tasting espresso drink. Wished I had taken a pic before finishing it.Will gladly come back here to oblige my taste buds and caffeine fix. Good job baristas!“

“Nicest baristas / staff working there. Coffee is pretty decent, but their scones are out of this world! Super crunchy exterior and soft and fluffy on the inside. Apparently their blueberry scones are famous. I can see why! They can heat up the scone in the oven if u like it hot as well!“

Therefore I have lots of coffee experience and I am confident that I will be able to apply my skills in coffee for the position of coffee at coffee co.
