“Got there at 5 am and paid for my breakfast. Unfortunately the power went out (nobody’s fault) and they couldn’t make my breakfast at that time but when I came back a few hours later they recognized me and made my breakfast right away. 10/10 for the early morning crew.“

“I enjoyed my grilled cheese on a spinach pastry, though the Americano I ordered tasted like a different type of roast, light and kind of citrusy, not dark roasted beans, and that's fine as a novelty, but it's not really my taste, and it's the first time I've tried it that way. The interior is charming and the server was friendly.“

“Charming little wonder hidden in Montreal. There was an incredible smell of spices when I walked past, so I decided to stop for lunch. It was excellent, the service was welcoming, a menu with little choice which implies that the few dishes are perfectly mastered. The cafe is very well decorated. I recommend you come here whether just for tea or coffee or even for a meal. In addition, the prices were very reasonable.

“It's our first time visiting Tommy,
We have Sandwich, croissant, toast and sweet fix. Also hot chocolate and latte.
Not bad and the environment is special, but the seats inside maybe are not enough on weekends.
The toast mixed with goat cheese wouldn't smell strong when eating mildly spicy tuna salad together. Tuna salad is a little bit spicy.
Whipped cream on sweet toast is really delicious ?“

“My favorite cafe!! The drinks are amazing, highly recommend the dulce de leche latte or any of their specialty drink depending on the season. Their chai is also very good! It’s small but I always find a seat to study and there’s also free WiFi. The music might be a bit loud for some people and there’s a lot of people going in and out which might be distracting but I personally don’t mind. The baristas are always very nice and froth milk perfectly. Highly recommend!“

“Had satuarday morning brunch in Sept in this little Cafe in old Montreal, apparently part of a chain of cafes in Montreal, this particular one was very busy with great upbeat ambience and lot of plants all around and good energetic background music that reminds me of Tony Robbins events,

We ordered the Truffle Benedict, which is a egg benedict with truffle hollandaise sauce,, and Emma, which is a grilled cheese with tomato soup,

We also ordered 2 Lucky Tommy Latte, which had lucky charm cheerios in them, and I thoroughly enjoyed it ( it's basically like having breakfast cereal with whipped cream and coffee at the same time, extremely efficient lol)

A negative is that the food takes really long time to come out when they are busy, so if you are in a hurry this might not be a good choice for you.

“We went one evening for a date, and we didn't expect that! It’s a very simple and at the same time very refined coffee. We felt that special care had been put into everything. The service was attentive, the food was extremely delicious (very fresh eggs, braised beef, a good variety on the plate…), and the atmosphere was great! It was a quiet evening, we were lucky to be able to enjoy this magnificent place with its decor while being almost alone just me and my husband! We're going back for sure!

We went there for a date and we weren't expecting that! Its a simple yet luxurious café. We felt that a lot of care had been put into everything. The service was attentive, the food was delicious (the eggs were very fresh, and the braised beef on top of them was perfect! There was a good variety in the plate…), and the ambiance was great! It was a quiet evening, we were lucky to enjoy that beautiful cafe being almost just the two of us my husband and I! Its really worth it and we will go back for sure!“

“Everytime, no matter which barista, the cortado they serve is the same. To me it's the most consistent coffee place in Montreal. I never have to worry about if this time will be good or not ...unlike many of the coffee shops in Montreal. Coffee never tastes bad here. It's always rich and bold in flavour. I enjoy it everytime. Why pay for a $4.50 cortado elsewhere, when you can get the best here for $3.50?

I've tried other Myriade in Plateau, Atwater, Club Monaco... but it isn't the same there. This one on Mackay is so far the best to me. Thank you.“

J'ai pris une soupe avec du porc, suggérée par la serveuse (qui était super gentille et nous conseillait vraiment bien). Le porc était si tendre que je le coupais avec mes baguettes. La souper était tellement gouteuse. Des saveurs que je n'avais jamais expérimentées et tout cela dans un petit resto super sympathique. Les prix sont plus que raisonnables. “This place is soooo good I can’t lie. The people who were there are really sweet and have positive vibes. The food and drinks are made super well and are very yummy. The egg sandwich is soooo good and the chicken Cajun sandwich. Maybe some more vegan options would be nice ? But overall it’s really good.
