My wife and I had a great experience at Pho Lyla. From the moment we walked in, the team welcomed us with genuine smiles, and that immediately made us feel comfortable.
The restaurant was clean, well organized, and had a pleasant atmosphere already a five star first impression.
I ordered the grilled chicken pho with a spring roll, and the flavor was extraordinary. The grilled chicken was delicious, the broth was rich and comforting, and the spring roll was the perfect addition to the meal. Everything tasted fresh, satisfying, and prepared with care.
Our order was ready very quickly, and before we knew it, we were enjoying a fantastic bowl of pho.
Big shout-out to the whole Pho Lyla team for the warm service, fast preparation, and excellent food.“

“Premier essai aujourd'hui pour deux : on a pris la soupe Pho Tai #10 et le poulet sauté à la citronnelle #33 et c'était vraiment trop bon. Le boeuf de la pho est vraiment tendre et les saveurs du #33 étaient immédiatement excellentes et au dessus de nos attentes à la première bouchée. Ils ont probablement le meilleur poulet citronnelle de Montréal, voir du Québec.“

“I've been here about ten times and I can safely say it's the best chicken soup I've had in my life. Truly fantastic, the broth is bursting with flavour, the chicken is always well cooked, and the soup is loaded with veggies. If I was forced to pick, the chicken soup here would be my last meal.“

“It's hard to describe just how good the Pho was. I told the owner we have enjoyed Pho for about 25 years, and this was the best. Ever. End.Of.Food.Review. The place is tiny, with maybe 6-8 tables, perfectly spotless, and does a big takeout business. The couple at the table beside ours had Banh Mi sandwiches and I regret not getting 4 of them to take back to our hotel. We were on holiday visiting from Ontario.“

“The lemongrass tofu was good and salty enough to accompany the rest. We stayed for a long time to talk and it was good for that during the week.
I wanted to tofu sandwich and they recommend me the bowl instead. I am vegetarian and the waiter was very attentive to not give me fish sauce and suggest me maybe peanuts and soy sauce for the bowl. I appreciated that!
My family said the food with meat was really good and they know their Vietnamese food since they grew up there.“

“We just had dinner here. There was a constant stream of people waiting for a fresh banh mi or for a table. The pho broth is so fresh and flavourful. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The gentleman offered my boys freezies after our meal. I can see why they have such positive reviews.“

Le menu est désormais très restreint…fini les Andemame, tofu croustillant et les rouleaux végé :( Le choix de bières & vins tout aussi limité… Bref, première fois que je sors du resto avec une impression de ne pas en avoir eu pour mes 175$ (pour 2).“

“My sister and I had the loveliest experience eating here, first of all the restaurant owner was so kind and welcoming. He made us feel at home right away :) and the food was incredible, it was so fresh and delicious. it was my sister’s first time trying poke and i don’t think she will be able to top this!!! it’s my favourite i’ve ever tried as well. “Great neighborhood restaurant. I have been passing by since I moved into the area and was not disappointed once I decided to step in.
Our meal started with the imperial rolls (cha gio) and the papaya salad (without beef). The rolls were in my opinion the star of the night; generously filled and simply delicious. These are the imperial rolls you always hope for but rarely get. The papaya salad was fresh and well dressed - not spicy as their Thai counterpart usually is.
We followed our meal with bahn xeo - a crispy Vietnamese omelette/crêpe that was filled with chicken and a generous amount of bean sprouts, and Bun Cha Hanoi. The airy and crispy texture of the crepe is addictive to say the least and very enjoyable. The grilled bun cha meat was also very tasty!
In sum, Y Lan is a great restaurant where you can be sure to enjoy a great meal with great service.

“I had the flank beef pho and chicken imperial rolls and they were both delicious. I appreciated that the pho didn't taste like it was loaded with sodium. I took the small size of the pho and it was quite filling. I didn't have to wait long for the food. The restaurant is quite small and can fit only three tables but makes for a more intimate setup. I didn't see any restrooms.“

“This is a small family own restaurant. The wood was amazingly fragrant and delicious! And traditional Vietnamese soups are their specialty (sushi and grills were also delicious). But soups are the bombs ? Definitely will be back or order take out“

“This phở joint serves some Vietnamese specialties like rice noodle and grilled pork (Bún thịt nướng) and fried tofu with shrimp paste (Bún đậu mắm tôm), the fermented shrimp paste sauce was overly intense and was swapped out for a milder fish sauce. The food was delicious, though the service can sometimes come off as grouchy. The dessert Ché Ba Màu is a must.“
