My first time at an Ashton. The fries in the poutine were cold from the start. The ingredients were good and I suspect had it been hot and had more gravy it would have been great. The burger was ok, I'd say average and the price for it was good also. $10 for a double burger is acceptable. $12 for a mini poutine and $ 3 for a medium fountain drink brought the total to $28 with taxes. I consider it expensive for a lunch. I may try it again, maybe different food options to validate...read full review
POUTINE!!!!
If you’re in the mood to eat a great tasting poutine, you never go wrong when you go to Ashton’s.
The fries are nice and crispy, the cheese curds are very squeaky, and the sauce is just right.
I tried their special winning poutine they created for “Poutine Week 2026” and it was so so delicious 🤤.
Their own branded Lager beer was also very good refreshing with my poutine.
The staff was really nice and the restaurant was clean and inviting.
