“This is a small family own restaurant. The wood was amazingly fragrant and delicious! And traditional Vietnamese soups are their specialty (sushi and grills were also delicious). But soups are the bombs ? Definitely will be back or order take out“

“Pho Thanh is excellent - very competitive prices, big portion sizes, and the flavour is very authentic. A lot of pho places now are charging more than $20 for a bowl of pho, and you just get a few small pieces of meat - but not this place. You won’t be disappointed as they don’t skimp on the portions. We can’t wait to order from here again.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to this restaurant.
I am a regular at Vietnamese restaurants and it is often quite the same from one restaurant to another.
I ordered a Combo C (Grilled Beef and Chicken) but this time I found everything to be really delicious, a cut above the others.
Even dessert, fried pineapple, usually at others, there is a scoop of ice cream by default, but at La Perle, no ice cream, just two donuts in syrup.
Well despite that, it's the best pineapple donut I've tasted in this type of restaurant.
The service was courteous and fast. Nothing to complain about.“

“Tried this little Vietnamese Asian fusion place for the first time. Since the closure of my favorite place a couple of years ago because of covid, I was in search for a similar place since.
This place is very small. I think maybe 30 person can sit max?
The menu is typical Asian fusion. I took the tao special which is a small house soup, fried roll and general tao chicken. They have combination that offer similar offer, unsure why it's just not called a combination but no big deal. It was good. The soup do remind me of charme cochinchinne home made soup. The fried roll was nice. Something weird is instead of giving you a dip, they gave you a bottle of the dressing that you put on it like sirup on pancake.
The general tao was cooked properly, not dry, not hard, and the sauce was good too. It was a bit too liquid but still very good and in good proportion, enough that I could use my rice at the end to take the rest.
My girlfriend took combination E which is beef with house soup and fried roll. It was also good.
The little downside was the service. I felt it was cold, very slow and I'm not sur we were getting understood. My girlfriend received a fried roll but not me. When we asked if I had one they said yes. What happen is once we received our plate, she had a fried roll in it! So in short, the tao special comme with a seperate fried roll served after the house soup but the combination serve it in the plate. Would been good to know since we were wondering if something was missing.
But aside of that, very good food, I'll come back for more.“

“We stopped ordering from this restaurant because the food was not very good. We decided to give it another try since we saw the restaurant had new management. We are very happy we did! our meal was delicious, everything was fresh, tasty and the portions were very generous. The owners son greets you at the door and he is very hospitable, extremely kind and welcoming. They were also generous enough to offer us additional items which we were very grateful for, their service is excellent. I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely be ordering again. “I finally had time to write this. Since I really liked the seafood dish with crispy noodless from Nguyen Phi on CDN, that unfortunately was closed, we decided to go in and try it here, thinking that the experience could be similar. We were 3 at the table. We also ordered a third dish with shrimps, beef and chicken.
Without a doubt, the seafood, with noodless, as a whole, was better in the Nguyen Phi. There, the sauce was more flavorful, well seasoned. Richer and thicker. Here, it was like water.
As for the other dish, it was generally good, but according to my table companion, the shrimps were dry. So much so that he had a hard time removing them from the toothpick.
The service time was average. Nice atmosphere and clean place. Next time, I might try their Pho.“

“I had the grilled pork with rice. The taste was spot on when compared to the better local Vietnamese restaurants. The price was reasonable too.
They can improve on 2 items
1) in the meat dish, the pork chops were very thin. Almost hot pot meat thickness. Doubling the thickness and adjusting the price would make sense. It shows the effort they spent to cut the chops so thin
2) we sat in the middle aisle. During a cold day, the cold air rushes in and some of the guests kept their coats on while eating their food. I don't think they can do too much now. In hindsight, the pair of double doors should have been installed with an offset.“

“Thanks to Bianca for her efficiency, empathy, kindness and without forgetting her remarkable team who were present and helpful while a stupid unusual accident took place when my friend literally choked by eating too quickly and his food content had been stuck for a long time before the paramedics arrived.

“One of most honest pho in the whome city. Their broth is delicous and of the most quality bones. I notice my take-away broth keeps the consistent gel-like texture that is similar to my family home-made pho. They are also very generous with the meat in the bowl. Please keep your generosity!“

Great pho broth flavour. Its not dac biet but its close to home and it tastes great. Their bun bo hue is great too even tho its missing a few ingredients but i just hope this message goes to the owner
