“The food slaps but WHY DOES IT HAVE O TAKE A MILLION AND A HALF YEARS TO ARRIVE WITH HALF MY SAUCE MISSING AND A BUCKET OF CHIPS ORDERED NOT IN MY ORDER 😭 i’m saltier than the chips at this point

“I’m disabled and found it easy to walk into the place. It wasn’t overly crowded but had enough people to make it feel very lively! I started with the tortilla soup, then had the fish tacos and to drink I tried the strawberry Jarritos and a sip of their margarita which I’d have again on a warm day ☀️ Everything was delicious, the staff was patient and courteous. I felt very comfortable and I’m already planning my next visit for the springtime!“

“This restaurant is so amazing. Everything is always fresh and so tasty, they always listen to notes I put when I order online.i use to be a Quesada fan but I switched to Calient-eh 100%. Only suggestion I have is to add more variety with the sauces available, although the Chipotle sauce is delicious and spicy.Prices are also very good. A+++ All around!“

“Imagine going back to your hometown after a while and going to your grandparents. That is El Amigo in a nutshell
Reservation by phone. On location, not a cat. Only us and the only staff/front of house/cook/etc. Menu: extensive. Atmosphere: drama in Spanish on the TV. Decor: inside your parents house. Not wheelchair accessible. Bring your own wine/beer. Food made on order. Came pretty quick. Good portions. Tasty. Had the restaurant for ourselves until 20:00 came. Then 11 + 2 came at once. Staff overwhelmed but did his job.
Good prices.
TL;DR: come with good company, good wine or beer, and patience and enjoy the pupusas.“

“While the restaurant does not originally offer vegetarian options on the menu, when asked they made me a vegan taco and it was very delicious. I recommend the place to clients and I hope the owners will consider adding a vegetarian meal to their menu.“

“Très bon sans réservation, ils nous ont accueilli avec le sourire. Les fajitas poulet/crevettes délicieux, belle portion. Le riz mexicain super bon. Le tout très bien épicé sans être piquant😍 Breuvage alcoolisé beaucoup de choix, moi j’ai choisi la marguaritas réguliere en slush 😋 et la Sangria Azul 👍👍 À refaire sans hésitation car beaucoup de choix sur le menu. “Their food is delicious! And they have horchata which is so good. But the best part is that they have a grocery part with products that are kind of hard to find unless you live near those latino grocery stores in Montreal. Authentic and Mexican. Absolute must try!!Seriously though, the horchata is crazy delicious.“

“10/10! So much fun!!! The carne molcajete was amazing, the drinks were incredible and the service was impecable. The restaurant is very beautiful as well. I would recommend this experience to anyone! I highly recommend the mezcal drinks as well as the horchata carajillo (it’s the perfect dessert)“

The shrimps tacos were really fresh, the pizzadilla was loaded with meat and was nice and crispy, they serve it with lots of sauces on the side and service was great, will definitely come back to grab another bite!“

“REAL Mexican food, delicious and authentic. When I went through the door I felt the scent of a home made meal, took me back to my childhood at grandma’s house in Michoacán. My food was cooked at the moment and it was on the table surprisingly fast. I ordered “enchiladas Rojas” and they were the real thing! I asked for some extra spicy salsa, they brought red and green salsas, not too spicy but great taste, and the salsa macha is almost better than my mom’s. I’m going back with my kids to try the carnitas 🤤“

“KEYLEE - probably the best server I’ve ever had. If you want someone to adapt to your personality, ask for her. If you need someone to ask how your food is every 10 minutes, or if you need someone to leave you to enjoy your cocktail for 20 minutes, she’s got you. Beautiful and elegant, 10/10. She deserves the world. The food, obviously amazing never disappoints. BUT KEYLEE - we were in a rush and she catered to our every need - came back for her x“
