“We had Iranian brunch here and it was a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very authentic, exactly what you expect from a proper Persian brunch. “Was in Montreal for my anniversary and a friend recommended Taverne Sur Le Square and it did not disappoint. I had the house Mac and cheese and I will say this was the best version I've ever had. The cacio e pepe brussel sprouts was also delicious. Service was exceptional. Will definitely be returning and recommend a visit to my friends and family.

“We celebrated a special event at Donato's on a regular Tuesday afternoon for lunch. We had an exquisite and memorable experience. The table d'hote had so many offerings at unbeatable prices. Every dish was served to perfection and our party of 4 agreed that there was nothing missing or lacking from this experience. Many thanks Tony for offering champagne on the house as we celebrated our daughter's graduation from Concordia. We WILL be back!”

When I come to sit and eat and drink food I am purchasing here, I don't think I should be expected to walk to the bathroom in Westmount Park. I do not want to give a non-recommendation review as it's been a rough time for businesses and the food and drinks at Mouton Noir are good - but if the bathroom policy remains in place, I don't see myself becoming a regular. There is no government rule that states that Cafes and restaurants have to keep their washrooms closed for customers.”

“Started going here for lunch because I work nearby. Absolutely delicious food with a wide range. From schnitzels, choripanes, tacos, stews, etc., it always hits the spot.

Every week they create a set lunch menu for each day of the week (though there are some staples like tacos on Friday!) and you also get a side of either homemade soup or salad. They are solidly sized portions and I often find myself unable to finish the entire meal and saving some to snack on later. For the lunch orders (side and meal) it’s approx. $13 give or take a dollar. cash or e-transfer (upon request).

They also have great breakfast options. A fully stacked egg, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and bacon sandwich was $6.50!

“Being vegetarians it is difficult for us to to find places that have great food, multiple options and an even fantastic ambience. This place checked all boxes!!!
