“Everything was perfect. Omakaze meal was epic. Service was exceptional.
Dietary restrictions: They were kind enough to adapt part of the omakaze for my friend's egg intolerance.”

“We celebrated a special event at Donato's on a regular Tuesday afternoon for lunch. We had an exquisite and memorable experience. The table d'hote had so many offerings at unbeatable prices. Every dish was served to perfection and our party of 4 agreed that there was nothing missing or lacking from this experience. Many thanks Tony for offering champagne on the house as we celebrated our daughter's graduation from Concordia. We WILL be back!”

“There are many things to appreciate about this bistro, others we were not super excited about. I would probably try it again if I lived in the area, but will not do a detour for it.
What we liked: the nice, young lady who served us, the coziness of the place, the lentil soup and the lamb shank, the BYOB formula.
What was OK: the eggplant pasta, the side veggies that seem a bit of an afterthought. A bit expensive but that is usually the case in BYOB restaurants as they need to make a good profit on the food itself.
What could be improved: salad included in the meal is tiny and very generic; we had to go to the kitchen at the end to find the wait staff and ask for the bill; open kitchen very close to the dining area with a lot of noise and smells; a few words in French (Bonjour, Merci) would go a long way to make Québécois of all backgrounds feel welcome.”

“This is hands down the best sushi ever. This quality cannot be found in all you can eat because all you want is for them to open a buffet. It’s made with care ???”

“The location is amazing, the setting too.
The coffee was not really nice, I think they may have opted for lower quality beans lately.
The croissant and carré aux dattes were nice
The service is uneven, and usually too slow for my liking but I am hard to please.”

“Best bartender ever I was traveling alone through Montreal and was recommended this place. I sat at the bar and had one of the best dinners of my life. I’m only 29 so my palette may not be all there yet but this dinner was off the hook. Mac n cheese was divine to put it simply. Filet mignon went crazy with the red wine sauce. Do yourself a favor and get the cheesy whipped potatoes with the steak. Down a bottle of cab throughout the meal. Better than any other restaurant in Montreal.”

“Adjoined photos of their bathroom is unfair to Cafe Myriade. I was impressed with its cleanliness and decor in a very limited space. Cafe Myriade is the antithesis of Cafe Olympico virtually next door where the millennials and Gen z congregate for glitter and coffee. Myriade is subdued with good coffee, responsive surface and chill music . Definitely a place to share time with a good friend. Didn't try the pastries but 3 out of four patrons indulged in their sweets.”
“A real hole in the wall! You need to walk through a lobby and it’s tucked away in the corner
I got a huge breakfast sandwich for 6$ (tax included) and had great conversations with the owners who have been running the place for over 15 years
Stumbled upon it because I happened to be in the area but is obviously a neighbourhood favourite
Will definitely be back for their weekly specials
Note: Cash only”

“Although Kashima is located close to our home, I only discovered it recently following a neighbour's recommendation. Kashima prepares sushi for take-out only. I have been ordering a "small" sushi-sashimi combo. The sashimi is plentiful, very fresh and delicious, and the sushi also of excellent quality. The portions of wasabi and ginger are large and taste as if they were prepared especially for each order. The combo includes a small salad and a generous portion of miso soup. The price in view of the quality is extremely reasonable. Since discovering Kashima I have become a regular customer ( at least once a week), and l recommend it highly to those who appreciate good quality sushi and sashimi. For many years I lived in Vancouver, where sushi was plentiful, high quality, and reasonably priced. Kashima is the first restaurant I have found in Montreal that compares well to the sushi restaurants I enjoyed in Vancouver.”

“A cozy spot with exceptional service, thanks to Mia, who truly elevated the experience. The burger with shiitake mushrooms was enjoyable, though the potato wedges could have been improved. The dirty chai latte was decent, but the chai spice was slightly overpowering. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and a great option for vegan dining.
Parking: For parking, park for free next to Westmount Park on Sherbrooke, and take 7 min stroll to the restaurant.”

“The best and most affordable sushi in Montreal is inside atwater metro. I went to this place everyday during my dawson years and now that I'm at Concordia I still travel the 1 stop to hit up my fave spot ?”
“So good! Amazing served and a variety choices of drinks: tea, milk, milk tea, smoothies , coffee and so much different toppings! I will definitely come back. Their taro milk tea with tapioca is really good and so is the Okinawa tea.”

“There is this beautiful blonde girl that works evenings, she makes the best coffee. She used to work for Dagwood sandwiches, but now I'm lucky to have her below my building where I get to see her all the time. Still haven't had the courage to ask her out but I'm getting there. Hopefully she's single.?”

“Without question, the BEST Greek food I've had in Montreal. We were a group of about 20 for a Baptism celebration. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Anastasios who served as waiter and Maitre-D, and who made us feel as if we were family joining him for a meal. The delicious fresh food began the moment we sat down and didn't stop coming till we were bursting at the seams. First the warm fresh bread loaf with oil and Greek herbs, followed by nice and thick tzatziki (garlic spread), delicious spanikopita (cheese and spinach feuilleté), typical Greek salad with a terrific dressing, the most tender calamari and crisp zucchini chips, both battered and fried to perfection, grilled Greek-recipe chicken breast, salmon filets which melted in your mouth, all with accompaniments such as Greek potato wedges, roasted corn on the cob and fluffy rice. Then there were the desserts - light and spongy vanilla cake, a panoply of festive macaroons and loukoumades (fried dough balls drizzled with honey), all served with traditional Greek espresso. Wow what a feast ! The menu is extensive, the food traditional and exemplary. The serving staff was also impeccable, constantly making sure you were properly taken care of. Whether in a group or with friends and family, you will NOT be disappointed at Petros Taverna Westmount !”

“I was looking for a little bakery and jutst happened to stumble upon this gem. The pistachio eclair was the best I’ve ever had! I also got a croissant, it was good but a little dense for my taste. There are so many options all of which looked amazing. If you’re ever nearby and need a pastry stop by here.”
