Amazing personable service, the menu has something for everyone which is hard to do and their specials are seasonal and delicious.

Now the wines, they have a great and extensive wine list with great price points PLUS a huge cellar list. If you love wine you must come here and be treated to a great evening of food and wine.

Oh and the dessert menu is superb. Love restaurants where it's hard to choose what to eat because everything sounds and is delicious.

“We celebrated a special event at Donato's on a regular Tuesday afternoon for lunch. We had an exquisite and memorable experience. The table d'hote had so many offerings at unbeatable prices. Every dish was served to perfection and our party of 4 agreed that there was nothing missing or lacking from this experience. Many thanks Tony for offering champagne on the house as we celebrated our daughter's graduation from Concordia. We WILL be back!”

When I come to sit and eat and drink food I am purchasing here, I don't think I should be expected to walk to the bathroom in Westmount Park. I do not want to give a non-recommendation review as it's been a rough time for businesses and the food and drinks at Mouton Noir are good - but if the bathroom policy remains in place, I don't see myself becoming a regular. There is no government rule that states that Cafes and restaurants have to keep their washrooms closed for customers.”

“Great place and good value. If going, take note of the turnover time limit on Friday and Saturday evenings. Food is always delicious and fresh. I go from time to time and generally find the service quite good; this night our waiter was very very slow to pour wine (we had to pour mostly ourselves) and was a tad harsh in communicating that we had to free up the table - thankfully, his very kind colleague was more amenable (and truly, it was our fault for not noticing the time limit when booking): the colleague very kindly extended our time by over 30 minutes so we left quite happy- the food is truly great!”

The baristas here are consistently welcoming, patient, and so professional even when the cafe is packed. They manage the flow with ease, always with kindness and a smile. You can tell they truly care about the experience of every single customer.

The manager deserves a special mention as well. Every time we come in, he’s present, attentive, and incredibly professional. You can really feel his positive influence in how smoothly the team works and how welcoming the environment is. He sets the tone, and it shows!

Even during busy times, the line moves steadily and the staff stays friendly and composed. The energy is already great, and we always leave feeling appreciated and well taken care of. No where else I’d rather get my daily morning coffee!!!”

“This sushi place is like, the little bistro on the way home that you could expect some delightful comfort food. Over the years, there’s consistency in freshness of fish and quality of cut. It is not a fancy sushi place that makes “fusion” plates, more on the simple but having good standard in all little things side. There are hot dishes on the menu too (Udon, skewers). I’ve only ordered the sashimi or sushi box for take out.”

“You can hardly find seating for a big group at this location but the one near place des arts has a gringotts ambience (harry potter).

The tigré cookie is a must. Best to skip the shakshuka cuz it’s very lack lustre and the poached egg is often over cooked.”

“I was looking for a little bakery and jutst happened to stumble upon this gem. The pistachio eclair was the best I’ve ever had! I also got a croissant, it was good but a little dense for my taste.
