“You can hardly find seating for a big group at this location but the one near place des arts has a gringotts ambience (harry potter).
The tigré cookie is a must. Best to skip the shakshuka cuz it’s very lack lustre and the poached egg is often over cooked.“

“L’excellent service est rare de nos jours. Aujourd’hui je l’ai trouvé. Au Bloomfield aujourd’hui, le serveur ainsi que la gérante ont été au-delà de mes attentes et celui de notre groupe de 6. Sans même que j’ai demandé quoi que ce soit, ils se sont assurés de notre satisfaction. Oui je retournerai à votre resto, et oui je le recommanderai. I do wish the vegetarian bagel was a bit easier to eat and had avocado instead of the small guac cup, but I'm not sure that is typical after seeing other photo reviews. And still not a big deal, it still tasted good, albeit a bit messy. 😊“

“The space is a bit small but very cozy. It’s divided lengthwise into two sections: one side is the kitchen, the other is the dining area. There are only about 4–5 tables for two or four people, plus a counter seating area. It’s an open kitchen, so you can watch them making dumplings right in front of you. Everything looks neat and clean. The place gets pretty busy, both at lunch and dinner.
I first came here last year and have been back a few times since. It’s definitely busier now, but the quality has stayed consistent. I always order one soup dumpling and one fried dumpling. The soup dumplings are juicy and flavorful. The fried ones have a crispy bottom that’s really satisfying to bite into.
The real star (according to my partner, and I agree) is the chili oil. It’s $2 for a small bowl and totally worth it: fragrant, spicy, and perfect with the dumplings.
The staff are constantly working. Usually there’s one person folding dumplings right near the entrance, two servers handling orders, and one person on the line. Everyone seems focused and organized. They seat guests quickly, clear tables fast, take orders smoothly, and even recommend dishes to nearby tables. Friendly, efficient, and hardworking.
Definitely worth trying. My partner and I keep coming back whenever we visit Montreal, he’s a big fan. It’s a great spot for anything from a casual hangout to a date night, or even a solo meal.“

“We had an event that required catering and Jeanne and her team not only delivered, but the exceeded our expectations by an infinite mile. The food is absolutely exceptional and provides a unique variety of options which everyone really enjoyed. This is going to be a go-to option for us on future company events and is truly a no-brainer, when it comes to the quality and quantity of options available.“

“We made a reservation for 7:30 PM on the 25 December 2025 and had to wait for about 15min once arrived at the restaurant. Service was wonderful, the staffs there were friendly and welcoming got everything we ordered 🧡 However, the time taken between each courses took forever so we end up trying to kill time by having a conversation and play some board games while waiting on our food. The first two courses (soup, salade and the salmon) served us relatively okay time, our pina colada, tea and our water was pretty fast but our main dishes took over a hour and half almost 2 hours to received it.. 🥲 I'm glad that I kept a bit my salad because our meal was extremely salty so it helps to balance the dish out.
The food we order overall was delicious, soup and salmon was great, our beef steak was spectacular, the drinks and our desserts was delicious 😋 The desserts came pretty quickly (way faster than the soup and salad actually) 😅 The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the fries, it was extremely salty and wasn't capable to finish them. I was able to eat a few bites of it and take the rest to go for my husband (he enjoys the fries a lot, he finish his fries on his plates quickly).
The decor was beautiful, the atmosphere was wonderful, love the music and the ambiance in this restaurant, great food and amazing staffs, service was on point ☆ Overall, it's fantastic way to celebrate the holidays with my husband ❤️🎄⛄️ We just wish that the main course didn't took over a hour of waiting... 💔
Aside of that, will come back again for sure ! The food was very good at this restaurant and we enjoy our experience 🥰“

“I adore Malatang so I might be a little biased, but I loved this place. You grab a bowl, load up on the assorted selection of ingredients, and then the price is calculated by weight. Though it does look like they have combo options too.
This place had a wide selection of ingredients, there was plenty of options! We ordered the spicy beef broth, and it was very rich and flavorful with a nice kick to it. The only thing that I would say is that some of the veggie items didn't look particularly fresh.
The staff was also super nice, offering to explain how ordering works and show you the ropes. Overall, very enjoyable, delicious experience and a fun and unique way to eat! We felt very fulfilled leaving this place.“

“I just went there to get a coffee with a friend and chat while there was blues music playing in the background. This place is kind of an institution in old longueuil. It was not really busy and the staff was friendly. I like to go there late at night when everything else seems to be close on the south shore.“
