“I don't think that I've ever left a review at any restaurant I've ever been to but when I tell you as soon as I took a bite out of their food my face lit up. this was possibly the greatest steak sandwich I've ever had and the fries were perfect. there's really nothing else to say besides the fact that the staff was the best and kept checking if we needed anything, the food and drinks came out fast too. I would come here all the time if I didn't live so far away.“

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

“I loved everything at Barcellos! I went last night to have dinner with a friend. I had the chicken broccoli Alfredo, it was delicious. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted and made to feel genuinely welcome. The service was supreme and the food was perfection. I definitely recommend checking it out. I will being going back for sure!“

“This place is definitely a hidden gem. Can get busy during peak times so make sure to call as they take reservations now. If your ordering catering sized portions, the small sizes are huge. If you order the lombinhos, they will ask you if you want them fried or grilled. Most places around here won't ask, but definitely get the fried. The grilled are dry with none of that awesome brown sauce.“

This is spicy so beware I love spicy so it was perfect for me, food was amazing and service was fast especially considering 1 waitress handling all the tables she was so good.“

“Easter lunch with the family. Owner Paulo is great in service making sure all his clientele are happy. Food was so delicious. Had the baked stuffed lobster and the stuffing with that garlic butter season sauce I could eat that with just bread. Parents did buffet which was such a value. Definitely going to visit more often“

“The Portuguese soup is amazing! They also have Superbock beer -- bringing my be back to my trip to Lisbon and Mouro. Their Shrimp Mozambique is spicy and tasty and their sardines are just as good as what they serve back in the old country. 😋 The prices are also unbeatable! Definitely stop by here if you are in the Tiverton and Fall Rover area.
Vegetarian options: Portuguese food is very meat and fish heavy but there are a few options for the herbivores amongst.
Parking: There are two lots: one on each side of the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Family friendly all around.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, very much so. There is a ramp.“

“Fish & Chips portion could feed a family of four. So fresh and delicious. Chicken Mozambique is yummy. I wish they kept it in filets, rather than slicing, then sauteing the chicken. It gets a bit chewy, but the flavor is good. Rice isn't traditional Portuguese. It's yellow and sooo flavorful and buttery, a bit spicy from the peppers. French fries are shoe stringed.“
