“OK, first of all, this place ain't the Capital Grill. There is an extensive menu of decent food and good beer offerings. Prices are very reasonable, waitstaff are great. They have musical bingo 2x per week, which we enjoy, and other activities. Overall, a good fun place.“

“My boyfriend and I have been here many times throughout the year . This is hands down one of the best dining experiences we have ever had . Every staff that works here has incredible knowledge and confidence in what they do and the food / drinks backs it up entirely . Not only this but the price point for everything is absolutely fair and if not I think less than what it should be for the experience you get ! Best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had ! “I came here for dinner tonight for Burgers and Beers night. Did not disappoint! While I don’t drink, I did indulge in “making my own burger” which was delicious and filling. My waitress was attentive and pleasant, despite the busy lounge area. (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name!) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable (because the quality wasn’t cheap!) and tasty meal, stop in! I might make this a weekly after work ritual. “Out for a Friday after Christmas drive and we came across the Picket Fence for breakfast. I am in love with this place! The building is quaint both inside and out. It has such a welcoming feel. The servers were friendly and attentive and the food was yummy! Although we live about 30 minutes away, we will definitely be coming back! 👍👍“

“Visiting in the area from RI. Took the dog hiking in Purgatory Chasm and we were looking for a place to have lunch where we might be able to have the dog. Stumbled on MSK and we will be making a point of returning. They welcomed us on the back patio with the dog (even brought her a bowl of water). Menu was relatively small, but the fresh and delicious food made up for it. Soup of the day when we visited was NE Clam chowder which was really good and full of clams. I had a chicken pot pie; fresh, homemade and very good. Tuesdays are taco days and we got a chicken tacos as well, which were solid! Staff were great (and funny). Prices were super reasonable, but we left a bit extra on the tip especially after finding out they operate as a non-profit and raise funds for the town Xmas Parade. Only open during the day, but highly recommend if in the area.“

“I visited solo for the first time yesterday. I arrived, stressed out from work, tired and in dire need of a month long vacation. I left relaxed, satisfied and felt like I received exactly what I needed. The waitress was very attentive to my requests- whether for a pitcher of water, or for the calamari or for other beverages. The DJ hit the mark with several reggae songs from Bob Marley to Sizzla. Not too loud for comfort either, which was a nice surprise. The calamari was cooked perfectly and a very nice portion. I wish I knew their marinara recipe. The pool was nice although a bit chilly for some, but I found it to be the perfect tonic for my body- very refreshing and invigorating . I went in five times over 6 hours. The crowd was great. I spoke to several patrons and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Everyone was dancing and enjoying the beautiful sun, but it never got too crazy- just the right vibe. Honestly, I’m kicking myself for not going before- where else can you feel like you are at a pool in Vegas in RI? I honestly did not want to leave, but the evening band was setting up and checking microphones as the establishment reset itself for the evening non-pool segment of its day. This is the type of place where if you go once, you will always keep going. I give the place 5 stars across the board and my thanks! I really needed that.“
