“This is probably the best place I have ever eaten. The food is magical and makes you wanting more. Ive been telling everyone about this place. The menu is diverse with something for everyone. “Cork and Rye is a regular stop on the rotation of restaurants that for me and my wife. The food has always been excellent and interesting and the staff has always been professional and accommodating. On my latest visit this evening everything was excellent across the board but when i was presented with the check it stated that I would be paying more to use my debit card than I would if I had cash. I had no indication anywhere on the website or within the restaurant that this payment scheme was going to happen until i had already eaten and asked for the check. First of all we all moved to debit payments decades ago and it was going fine until very recently when ownership of various businesses suddenly were faced with making their margins which are notoriously thin. I get that but that is not my problem. My problem is that i had no idea and I dont typically carry around bags of cash for the one off business that simply does not want to absorb the price of doing business. I had no line item after i grudgingly paid with my debit stating the extra 3-4 % for the debit use (which is considered cash normally as it comes right out of my bank account). I do feel a bit cheated and that goes to my bottom line. I have the funds to spend wherever I want and i chose to spend them here but I am seriously considering not coming back.

7/20/26...followup from the mgr stated that debit charges should reflect as cash and they were looking into why this transaction was not handled correctly.“

“First time in. Monday night special is quite the deal! Food tasted excellent and portions are large. I was able to take home plenty of food and my unfinished bottle of wine. We did feel a bit rushed. Not only to place our order but appetizers and salads were served at the same time to our small table. We were asked multiple times if we were done with courses when we had forks in our hands. Because the food was delicious and very well prepared we’ll give it another try and hope for a better service experience.“

“More of a take out or get delivered from door dash to you its clean has long table against wall for eating and a few table and chairs a bathroom. There always busy have a lot of speacils love the buy one get one free deals when they run them or 35 percent off deals. Food is great my husband loves the number 9 I like pastrami and Swiss cheese or the italian, rice bowls are good also . I love the chicken salad with no tomato or lettuce add cranberry sauce the wraps are good also.“

“Ordered for first time using instacart tonight. Been wanting to try it for a long time. Ordered the hot honey, pepperoni, basil, tomato sauce and ricotta. I left off the hot honey...wasn't ready for that. It was delicious. I am a new patron! Crust is crisp and tight, toppings were fresh, ricotta was creamy. I'll give it a 9.5. Only note was it was not kept hot and I ordered it well done and it was regular done...2 minor blips.“

“Sat at the bar area tonight.. our sever was awesome i believe his name was craig ..very accommodating had an issue with the food took care of it right away i give craig more than 5 stars... but they were doing some kind of gift exchange or something with the employees and they all over crowded our table while we were eating there was a small child next to us you can hear them swearing and just all standing around blocking the exit from the bar area.. employees not on the clock or properly dressed In and out of the kitchen even seen someone walk in the kitchen with a babyyyy absolute free for all ... just crazy honestly“

The girl who answered let me know that they haven’t received an order for me but checked with ordered. “I’ve never been in to this location before. I always expect for Chick-fil-A to be busy but it’s clear to see why everybody is stopping here. I don’t think I’ve ever seen teenagers so happy to be working. Hannah and the other young lady at the register we both happy, attentive and it seemed that everyone there really took pride in their work. Don’t usually make comments or reviews but I was just blown away. Food was excellent and came quickly.“
