“Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had, in or outside of a restaurant. I had one of the specials, a Portuguese-style steak, which was cooked perfectly medium-rare. Juicy, smothered in a delectable sauce. The portion was incredible for the price. The service was perfectly paced, the staff were attentive and friendly. “Last night I had ordered some food online and went to the restaurant a little early for pick up, I was greeted by the owners who were extremely hospitable and kind. They talked to me while I waited and gave me a cheese naan to snack on while we talked. The food came out fast and not only were they very friendly, polite and professional but the restaurant was in immaculate condition, extremely clean and organized. Also It smells phenomenal in that restaurant. The food was very, very, good. I will be a returning customer but next time I will go and sit down there to enjoy the nice atmosphere and service they have. 10/10 service, food, and I highly recommend the butter chicken”

“We love this place! Their cheesecakes are so flavorful and come in so many fun flavors. They are always experimenting with different flavors and we have never had one we didn’t like! You can get mini ones, slices and sometimes even a whole cake. Great prices and friendly service.”

“Took my toddler here Monday and my only regret with coming here is that we’ve lived in North Smithfield for several years and this was our first time coming! My son (almost 3) loved seeing the cows and trucks that were set up there. We went inside to get a snack and he started having a mini meltdown because he wanted to go back outside. An employee (wish I got her name) came from behind the register and gave him a couple stickers and told me I was doing a great job, which really means a lot when you feel like you’re doing something wrong as a mom. I appreciate that woman more than she realized! 💕 I ordered a cream puff and 2 chocolate chip cookies. When the employee from behind the counter handed me my box she let me know she gave us an extra cookie! The employees really were amazing. My son loved his cookie, and I’ve been dreaming of that cream puff ever since 🤤 we can’t wait to come back and try the ice cream! Great snacks and even greater employees! Thank you for a great day!”

“There is never a dull moment at the tavern. I’ve been frequenting this place for over 10 years at this point. They have an incredible blues jam on Sundays with the hottest house band in town. It’s been going on for nearly 20 years. A good friend of mine hosts the open mic on Thursday nights, and they have a great format you can play as a solo artist or you can do an open jam. They have a very affordable wing special on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is lively and fun. I’ve made friends with some of the regulars. Some of them have been coming to the same bar for 50 years. The owner Robyn is very friendly and hard-working. Her whole family is invested in the business and I really appreciate that, having worked in the service industry for a long time. What are you waiting for? Go down to the roadhouse!”
