“Stopped in with my fiancée for lunch. Beer selection was good and well priced. I am a big burger guy and generally judge pubs and taverns based on their bacon burger and this place didn't disappoint. Food was great, beer was cold, price was right, and service was pleasant. What more can you ask for.“

“Fun place for brew, food and watching the game. Had the steak and cheese on a hoagie and my wife had a flat bread. Both great plus lots of choices for beverages. Will be back.Parking: Might have to go to a lot unless your lucky that a street space is open.“
“Don't be offended by the descriptor of "dive bar". To me it means no judgement by patrons. No snooty a-holes. Cold adult beverages. And pleasant but rough around the edges atmosphere! This place has it all. You want a challenge? Try playing shuffleboard on the warped board! Has all the aspects of a local drinking hole.“

“The Guinness French onion soup was AMAZING. The burger was cooked to perfection .The wait staff was very attentive. Great menu choices. Quaint atmosphere.Parking could be an issue in the summerParking: Limited parking on the street. The fo have reserved parking in the back but probably not enough to accommodate a lot of patrons. But don't be deterred by this it's a great place“

“I have been dining at Wood River Golf for over 10 years maybe even closer to 20 they have had their ups and downs especially during "C". Dinner this past Saturday night was fabulous. Their chicken parmesan is still the best around. I can say with confidence I have never had a bad meal there. Prime rib Saturday was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend! I know everyone has been struggling to find good help but thank the Lord they have a strong family support system and a wonderful bartender who has always been loyal.“
