“I recently discovered Brewed Awakenings, and I am hooked! I visited the Cranston location. The staff was so friendly. The cafe was spotless, and Paul, the manager, is so warm, welcoming, has a stellar personality, and completely makes my morning. It's been tricky trying to find a solid cup of iced coffee that has all of the bells and whistles. I shared with Paul my favorite flavors, and he immediately whipped up the perfect cold concoction. It was my first time trying coldfoam! It is by far the best iced coffee I have ever had. Pictured is brewed Smores iced coffee with Oreo cold foam, crushed oreo cookies, and a smidgen of chocolate syrup. 10/10 recommend. I'm already looking forward to my morning cup.“

“Went on google maps looking for a little breakfast spot. Found this gem. Nothing bad to say. Crepes were a perfect balance of all ingredients. Golden Latte hit the spot. Atmosphere was the right amount of cozy and inviting blended with bright and cheerful. Definitely worth the stop.

“As a board member of our PTG I’ve used Cafe International twice now to cater breakfast for the teachers at Stadium School in Cranston. The owner was very helpful with suggestions on what to order, the food is always fresh and so delicious. The cinnamon sugar bagel and iced spiced chai is a personal favourite. Prices are reasonable and ordering and pickup is smooth. Thank you, we will be back in the spring for Teacher Appreciation week!“

“First off, let’s start with the space. I’m visiting from a big cityyy so my expectations can be a little high — but this place is absolutely breathtaking. The vibe is cozy, upscale, and still relaxed enough to just kick back and enjoy. It feels refreshing and thoughtfully designed without trying too hard.

Bianca, the bartender who helped me out, was incredible. She has such a well-crafted, extensive specialty knowledge and was amazing at guiding me through the menu when my indecisiveness kicked in (which happens often). She’s relatable, friendly, a little edgy in the best way, and the space felt very queer-friendly and welcoming because of that energy. I’m already looking forward to coming back and chatting it up with B again.

Only small con: the payment process. It would be a nice upgrade to have handheld devices so guests don’t have to give up their phones to close out. Small detail, but it would elevate the experience even more.

“i love cafe tempo. i have been coming here for years. i used to come everyday before work when i worked in the area, and now i get it at least once a week. bagels are great, coffee is my favorite around i love the brewed flavors. i love the egg sandwiches. BUT i have one complain. they do not toast the croissants anymore and to be honest that PMO. i still order it but its not as good. please allow toasting of the croissants and maybe just add a memo that the croissant may be burnt. some of us don’t mind and actually like it. PLEASE.“

“Tucked back in an industrial Office Park is one of the most quaint and cleanest coffee shops I've ever walked into. They have an amazing menu as well as a good assortment of baked goods and bagels. They make their protein smoothies and breakfasts fresh.

“I only gave 4 stars because I only had 1 thing to eat. Ill return and if it stays consistent, it will go to 5. This is cute Lil place in Richmond square building. It sits in the open, but has about 4 2-seat tables. I had a bagel which was nice and there are a lot of tasty looking sandwiches on the menu, that I look forward to trying. Its a cute set up, and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. He let me try a small sample of his very popular red beans and rice. Its very similar to a Louisiana dirty rice type dish, it has a small bite but nothing to over powering. He has some delicious looking baked desserts as well. I had little time to stay and try what I wanted, but Ill make more time my next visit.“

“The Watermark Cafe is RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) owned dining venue. Though many RISD students come here regularly, the general public seem to always drop by and enjoy toasty treats and healthy meals. The cafe serves excellent fresh sandwiches, wraps, burritos, soups, salads, fruit, local yogurt, organic smoothies, espresso drinks, fair trade coffee, and organic tea. A lot of the stuff is kept local, organic, and healthy-conscious.“

“Fantastic. They made me the best iced mocha I've had since I've been back in the US, exactly to order, and the bagels are great. They have less wasteful packaging than most places these days, too; not super-eco, but they haven't completely given up, like most coffee places in New England. And there are lots of places to plug in a laptop and chill by a window. I'll definitely be back.

Parking: I don't think this is a driving neighbourhood.

“Gorgeous Brown University student-run cafe and bakery. They make fantastic coffee and tea. They make bao on Mondays and kabob and curry other days. Muffins are delicious. Overall a really good place to have a snack or a meal and enjoy with a friend or alone!“
