It is way too light at night. The parking lot lights need to go out much much earlier. The room was awesome. Also kind of loud
Wonderful stay. Very clean room, amenities were all high quality. Location was central and easy to walk everywhere.
The Island House is a beautiful boutique hotel just a few minutes drive from downtown Newport. It is beautifully appointed, with spacious rooms. The only slight drawback is noise travels between floors with the hardwoods. So if you are on a lower floor expect to hear walking around above you. This wasn’t too disruptive but we did use a sound machine at night to mitigate it.
