“These really are good friends.I've been living in Newport for about 8 years now, and while all the others have changed their recipes or management for the worse, this place has only ever gotten better. Their dumplings are by far the best in Newport and my favorite item on their menu.The interior might be a little shabby, but these people are incredibly nice and accomodating, and the food is great.“

“I came to this location on my lunch break, Tuesday, 16APR2024. I ordered the large hot and sour soup, 2 vegetable rolls, and the sesame tofu for $24.10 total after tax.I am an avid enjoyer of Chinese food, so I can tell when I get some incredible Chinese food and some generic, bland, frozen food. Bamboo house has delivered quite possibly the best Chinese food I have ever had at a price point to justify their generous portions!The food was SCORCHING hot in temperature, well seasoned, and brought out in only 15 minutes. I was absolutely amazed by how tasty this food is. The veggie rolls were freshly fried with the thin crisp of a golden, flaky crust encapsulating juicy, hot veggies. Sesame Tofu was textured and firm (my personal favorite) and well adorned with sweet and sour sauce, topped with crunchy sesame seeds.The hot and sour soup came with those crunchy won ton chips, and had the perfect ratio of egg, vegetables and nice flavor; not too spicy but not watery.Couldn’t recommend Bamboo House enough for their incredible food, at a reasonable price that was freshly made to order in 15 minutes or less.

The chicken, beef, and vegetables were fresh and tasty, and the white rice was soft and steamy. Service was nice, too. Overall this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to.“

“I put the 4 stars on atmosphere on purpose. This place is more about the food. You go to this place for the good food. Granted the lady taking our order was lovely, kind, and patient as we were first time visitors from Washington State staying in the hotel in the back yard. But florescent lighting and ceiling tiles... This isn't sit down for your first date atmosphere. You get it to go and take your date to a beautiful location and blow them away with the delicious food.

Our containers were full to the brim. The food is delicious. I have zero complaints about service or food. If you are craving Chinese food, you won't be disappointed.“
