“Asian Gourmet is a small tucked away practically unnoticeable gem in the Tiverton plaza. The food is great, hot and the staff are polite and attentive. We had the chow mein this time- folks think Chow Mein is the same everywhere; not true!Asian Gourmets Sauce or gravy or whatever you wish to call it, is always tasty, doesn't coagulate when cooled and the noodles are fresh.We have had many other dishes- one favorite is the Basil Thai Rice with Shrimp!!!The shrimp are huge,flavorful and the Basil sauce is Amazing! “Had this place popped up on my FB, and I had to come try their chow mein sandwich. Everything I've heard and read was true. I also had a small order of the beef teriyaki. That had to be, in MY opinion, some of the best I've ever had. I even got a small order to go for my 35 min ride back home. I was met and seated by the owner. She was genuinely a very sweet lady, and she checked on me and made sure everything was fine. The only other interaction I had was with one other female employee/server, and she was fantastic. It's definitely worth a stop in ( which I will do again soon). Oh, and just an fyi, it was cash only when I got there and read it on the door, not sure if that's an all the time thing, but maybe check their page or give a call .)“

My favorite is the pick 3, I usually get 3 main choices and then order a small rangoon on the side. It is a perfect amount of food for two. The filling manages to be sweet, savory, and umami all rolled into one crisp, perfect bite. Run, don't walk. The rest of the menu serves up your standard Chinese-American cuisine. I love the Steamed Pork Potstickers, and they turn out a respectable Spareribs as well. As other reviewers have mentioned, they do have a liquor license, and the Tiki Drinks (especially the Mai Tai!) are a great accompaniment to the cuisine. Ching Tao is family owned, and the proprietors are present in the operation, serving up food with a smile. The takeout and delivery is also on point, with food arriving hot and fresh every time. I probably order here once or twice in a couple months, and I have not had any issues. I also have family members who have made this place their go-to. “i got hungry for chinese and a friend recommended this restaurant for delivery. they deliver on base which is amazing. i ordered the kung pao chicken, roast pork lo mein and scallion pancakes. everything is 10/10 so far except for the kung pao chicken. i'd give it a 7/10. the flavor is amazing but i ordered it to be spicy and the spice level did not deliver at all and that's why i decided to take 3 points off. rather than that, i highly recommend ordering from here.“

“Got delivery, was 10 minutes earlier than they said, food was hot, sodas were cold. Beef udon was very tasty, dumplings were good. The wife said her chicken pad Thai was good and she is kind of pucky. Used a coupon for the egg rolls expecting 3 small spring rolls, surprised to see 3 full size tasty egg rolls that were nice and crispy. Will definitely order from here again. The online ordering was great.“
