“As a Chinese food aficionado I was really excited to have a Chow Mein Sandwich from Mee Sum. Regina the owner made me feel like I was at my grandmother's on a Sunday. She came around and asked if I wanted more sauce for my sandwich. She took the time to explain the history and Fall River's role in Chow Mein. Her restaurant has been named as one of the top 25 in the country! They offer other Chinese dishes but the Chow Mein Sandwiches are where it's at! Get them while you can!“

“Every experience at Hong Meas has been great. Ricky the owner is very friendly and always greats us with a smile. Nine chow is one of my favorite appetizers and his teriyaki beef is top tier. Give him a try and don’t be afraid to ask questions before ordering.“

“Last night I ordered delivery from And they were very good. sides so I ordered the Jimbo fried shrimp for both appetizers. The chicken chow mein was excellent. The fried rice that came with it was fresh not like other Chinese restaurants where they just hold onto the old rice until it’s all gone was really surprised how this fried rice was. They use the noodles I believe from the Fall River noodle Company and they were very good. My only complaint was the jumbo freight room. It was coded in dough and was not very good cause you took a bite and you got a big hunk of bread in your mouth fried bread to change the recipe for fried shrimp. But I will, go there again or something different next time and I will be leaving a report for you. The only reason I gave four stars overall is because of the fried shrimp. I hope they change that.“

“Food was absolutely fantastic. We dined in which felt more like a fast food restaurant than a location where you could go and spend time with friends. No bar service. I can only assume the majority of their business is delivery or take out. I would highly recommend this restaurant for take out or delivery. Food was not super oily and everything was cooked to perfection.“

“He's starting to skim on the portion sizes. The plates are getting smaller and smaller while the prices gets steeper. The inflation is showing. The quality of the food unfortunately has slightly decreased as well this used to be my favorite place to get Chinese takeout. Now I noticed sometimes there is undercooked rice. Or sometimes the food is way too oily. I wish they would work on the way of improving the packaging. Just use the black containers instead of the cheap garbage styrofoam with the Leaky paper bag.“

“This food is probably the most authentic Chinese Food in the city. Not only was it clean when I walked in the very kind cook was very nice. He cooked the food right in front of me. And very relaxing Chinese culture music was playing in the back while I waited. :) The lady who answered the phone was also very kind. It's very rare to find authentic kindness and good food all in one spot. Definitely the gem of Fall River. You won't be disappointed ?. Support small business like this! Oh and worth the money if you want amazing tasting food!“

“To everyone buying boxes and finding them rancid. If you aren't aware, they had a fire years back. They couldn't replace the friers with high temp ones like they had. This caused them to change oil that goes bad quicker. They probably should have updated their boxes with shorter use by date. Luckily for me, I live nearby and by bags of noodles fresh and binge eat chow mein and use all the noodles before they go bad. But this is the reason why originally they never had a problem with selling the boxes in stores, but now they do. Did the higher heat friers cause the fire, and it was a necessary regulation the UL limits the temp?“
