The restaurant looks sketchy, but the food was very good.

I have lived in Edgewood for fifteen years now, and Dragon Dragon has been my go-to Chinese food establishment. Now let's be honest, Chinese food in the New England is different from what they serve in Beijing, just like Italian food here is not like in Rome. Now that being said, these new owners have brought their better Chinese recipes with them and I have seen an improvement in their menu over the past year and a half. Dragon Dragon is a restaurant that offers surprisingly fresh and delicious Chinese food, with a variety of options on the menu. The beef lo mein is a popular choice, featuring fresh ingredients and a tasty sauce, with white mushrooms adding a nice touch. The D1 dish is also well-liked and has a unique take on beef teriyaki, using a dry rub instead of the typical bright red color. The boneless spareribs are described as standard, but the rice is a highlight, being sticky and likely jasmine rice.
The restaurant has a small, hole-in-the-wall feel, but the staff is genuinely nice and friendly. Customers appreciate the great prices, noting that it's possible to feed two people for around $30.00. Many enjoy the convenience of ordering online without relying on expensive delivery services. The food is fresh and delicious, making Dragon Dragon a new favorite for Chinese cuisine. The nime chow is particularly recommended for its great portion size and unique presence on the menu, featuring rice noodles, shrimp or crab, and a sweet and savory peanut sauce that enhances the flavor.
Overall, Dragon Dragon offers great food and friendly service, but the app needs improvement as some customers have reported issues with ordering. It is suggested to try the beef lo mein, D1 dish, and nime chow, while keeping in mind that the app may have problems. The sticky rice remains a standout, and the restaurant is appreciated for its standard Chinese fare at competitive prices.
