“Took my toddler here Monday and my only regret with coming here is that we’ve lived in North Smithfield for several years and this was our first time coming! My son (almost 3) loved seeing the cows and trucks that were set up there. We went inside to get a snack and he started having a mini meltdown because he wanted to go back outside. An employee (wish I got her name) came from behind the register and gave him a couple stickers and told me I was doing a great job, which really means a lot when you feel like you’re doing something wrong as a mom. I appreciate that woman more than she realized! 💕 I ordered a cream puff and 2 chocolate chip cookies. When the employee from behind the counter handed me my box she let me know she gave us an extra cookie! The employees really were amazing. My son loved his cookie, and I’ve been dreaming of that cream puff ever since 🤤 we can’t wait to come back and try the ice cream! Great snacks and even greater employees! Thank you for a great day!“

“Went to the shack today, and it was a really nice experience! I love what Alex and his team have done with the place! The ice cream flavors and variety of toppings are very good. The lemonade beats Del’s by a mile! If you’re lucky, you might catch one of their trucks leaving or pulling up. Haven’t gone yet for the live music and entertainment. But this shack is a good option if you’re not able to catch one of their trucks around RI / MA. Stop by!“

“Fairly brisk though often a wait to order, and to get order, but plenty of seating and even swing benches available to pass the time & to enjoy your ice cream. Very limited dairy-free options (one DF ice cream, Dole Whip, Italian Ices) so be forewarned for the lactic enzyme lacking. Careful as parking lot is right near seating, but otherwise perfect for kids. Fun inflatables, theme music and good vibes. Closed for the 2025 season, yesterday, November 2nd.“

“I am not one for reviews but this one is well deserved. The new management did an amazing job reopening — the place looks clean, bright, and welcoming. The two girls working were incredibly friendly and patient with my daughter while taking our order, considering how busy it was. You can tell they enjoy their job and customers. I had a strawberry sundae and my daughter had a dipped cone. Both were delicious! So happy to see this place brought back to life! 10/10 recommend.“

The coffee is superior to your average diner coffee and the food is fresh and delicious. We have had to wait for up to 45 minutes before so if you can’t wait then find somewhere else. “My husband and I get our daughter an icecream cake every year here for her birthday... Every year they have done an amazing job!!!! But this year.... They absolutely outdid themselves!!!! My daughter asked for a Jojo Siwa cake and boy did they deliver!!!! They didn't have a picture for Jojo Siwa and asked if I could email them the picture I wanted. Which was super easy!!! The woman I spoke to was so sweet!!! (I think she said Tina was her name?) I emailed the picture right over and they had it done in no time.... When I saw it I was absolutely in love!!! But When my daughter saw the cake she started happy crying saying how beautiful it came out and how it was better than what she had ever dreamed of.... She said it was the best cake she has ever had!!! Thank you guys so much for making her birthday extra special!!! ❤“

“Last year food was great this year May 2026 got their fish and chips the fish is not the same doesn't look the same and was very dry. Saw other Sea food plates that were over cooked burnt and the prices have gone way up. Very disappointed My wife and I loved this place. I hope these reviews get back to the owner but , I have never noticed a response from these reviews If they keep serving lower quality food and charging higher prices.
