“I stopped into Cock A Doodle Cafe in Conway after church and errands today and tried their tacos and a sope. I asked for guacamole which wasn't on the menu and they made it for me. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was the best I've had! Best soft tacos (had with chipotle chicken, onion, pico de gallo and cilantro) and sope (same chicken + lettuce, onion, tomatoes and a light sauce). The guacamole was out of this world! 😋 They offered it with/without peppers. I went without. Not spicy, chunky and DELISH! And they had freshly baked red velvet cookies with white chocolate and teeny oreo pieces in them and a light white drizzle. Super soft and "cakey". Again, FANTASTIC! All very reasonably priced! Have found my new restaurant for Mexican food.“

My only problem wasn't with the food or service in the restaurant. I tried to order and pay online and cake.net would not let me complete the payment. Other than that, go get a great burger and awesome atmosphere!!!“

My meal left something to be desired.I ordered the catfish and the batter was hard and without removing it, you couldn't taste the fish. Not sure where the cook is from, but people around Horry and surrounding areas do not fry fish like that. Such a shame to be located on the river front and not be able to enjoy fresh fried fish...“

“This place is a must eat! Our first time trying the coop we ordered through door dash. After an hour if waiting for our food we called the restaurant. The owner was fantastic. Told us to cancel our order with doordash and he would make sure we had our food. Went and picked up our food from the restaurant and he gave us some extras to apologize for door dashes screw up even though that wasn't on him. The food was soooo good. I had the Nash burger which is to die for. My husband had the blackened chicken Philly. My daughter had the pepperoni pizza. Everything was so good and super filling. Thank you coop! We will be back!“

I had a big order and Jay without hesitation helped bring it out to the car. The manager clearly sets the bar high and leads by example, she helped the cashier take the order and even put it in a big box so it was easy to carry.

“I finally found a crispy crunchy fried whiting filet, since moving here. For lent I had the Fish dinner and it was AMAZING!! Seasoned well, cook to perfection. Each time I went, it was on a Friday. I had it again last night, on a Tuesday and was totally disappointed 😞. Please, Please....whoever cooks on Friday, have them train the other cooks. The fish was mushy, not seasoned,....just not tasty at all. We bought extra pieces, which we will be throwing out!! Friday Cook....please train the other cooks, lol I gave a stars as a middle ground of good experiences combined with bad.“
