The food is absolutely delicious with outrageous chicken biscuits, waffles & tenders, biscuits with gravy, and the hashbrowns were unbelievable! Not to mention, they fresh squeeze orange juice to order and please the fruit tea punch, perfect for a humid morning. Most definitely coming back!“

“Our table of six was well serviced, the food was fresh and well presented. The outdoor VERY loud music was muted inside so conversation was easy. We all followed the restaurant week menu so the value was remarkable... three courses for $35! The beef was exceptional, the salmon, fresh and generously portioned, nested in a black bean and corn coulis accented with I believe was a stripe of tomatillo, which lifted the flavor of the dish without overwhelming it. Lemon meringue pie with blackberry coulis was our favorite dessert. Nice to see this restaurant back on track.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Southern Palate Catering. We used their services for our wedding in April 2022. Most of the compliments we received from the wedding were about the food! We worked with Denise, the chef and owner of Southern Palate. She always got back to me promptly and was always willing to meet with me face to face anytime I needed during the planning process. My husband and I always dreamed of having Mexican food at our wedding. Denise already had an option on the catering menu for Mexican stations and it was just what we were looking for! They homemake everything, even the tortilla chips (which were amazing), and were able to accommodate my gluten allergy with anything I wanted. Denise made sure all of her employees knew I was gluten free and they served me and my husband the whole night so that we didn’t have to worry about taking the time to get our own food. They even packed us a to go box full of every food item at the wedding so that we were able to eat at our hotel after. They took all the stress off of us on our special day and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend using them for any event and I will definitely be using them for any catering needs in the future.“

“This place is definitely worth the price, the food is absolutely amazing and you get a good amount of it. We tried the pork, the brisket, and the shrimp, which all deserve a major nod. We finished our meal with a piece of the red velvet cake and it DID NOT disappoint. We will definitely be back and recommend anyone who is thinking about eating here, do it!“
