“My family ate lunch at Denny’s after church. The food was excellent. I had 2 eggs over medium and pancakes. The pancakes were perfect. Our server was Vivian. She was great. She exceeded our expectations. She bought my niece a whole box of crayons. That was really sweet. She made sure we got what we requested even as busy as she was and her attitude was amazing!! I would request her again!!“

The beef is fresh, locally sourced, and cooked to perfection. And those homemade, fresh-cut fries? Absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the perfect complement to the meal. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made us feel right at home. “My Husband and I just popped into Peggys Diner on our way to NC. We were greeted by a very funny gentleman who made me laugh and invited us to sit wherever we liked. The very sweet server greeted us and we placed our order which was the special of the day. The fried chicken 🍗 and hushpupies were delicious and flavorful!! My Husband had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes 🥔 and it was really wonderful and delicious. It was truly a wonderful find and we will definitely be back the next time we drive through town.“

You won't find a more friendly family-oriented atmosphere in the world it's also located in the great town of travelers rest. People if you want a great tasting cheeseburger and this is where you get it hands down beyond the shadow of a doubt the best chili cheeseburger on the planet! I love you guys I mean it!“
