“This restaurant was recommended by my cousin. He said it was the best in the area. I couldn't agree more. I was surprised at the speed of the service.The food was seasoned well. The restaurant is located in Mt. Pleasant, but with the GPS, it wasn't hard to find. However, the entrance was a little hard to find because that is where the GPS took to the back. There was an entrance, but it wasn't marked, so we walked to the front, where we were seated immediately. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“The blonde young lady preparing the food was working her butt off. I have to give the young lady a lot of credit for working so hard. I was seriously impressed with her work ethic. I wish more people had her work ethic. I wish they had more staff to help her out.The rest of the staff did well.“

“Thelma Lou's is a "must go" barbecue place! Warm and friendly staff. Delicious pork barbecue served with vinegar-based sauce and your choice of "red" or "white" slaw on a toasted brioche bun ? Other members of our dining party got hand-formed, grilled well done burgers with choice of toppings and cheese. Chef accommodated our request for "extra crispy" hand cut fries. So delicious! Family-friendly atmosphere. Definitely will return to try more "good eats"!“

“First time there yesterday. I ordered the mushroom, bacon, Swiss burgers with onion rings. I never eat everything I order unless it’s extremely good. The burger was AMAZING. The meat had a great taste & the onion rings were perfect. I’m very picky when it comes to burgers & they are the best I’ve found in this area❤️“
“Omg the sea food platter was delicious!!! Best hush puppies ever and the stuff crab was so fresh just full of flavor. Homemade tater sauce and coleslaw. The cook even brought another one out since the platter only came with one. So we both would have one. I'm telling you we enjoyed every bit of the platter. The atmosphere was so laid back and comfortable. Don't let this side of the road restaurant fool you it's been around along time and is a staple to the local community between Kings Mountain and Grover NC. Quality service , Quality food, and the dining area was very clean.Vegetarian options: Fresh salads were a mighty tempting choice . The veggies looked pristine and there are baked potatoes on the menu which is a good choice too.Dietary restrictions: Well clearly the chicken could be grilled; as well as there were fruit some were in cups. There was grain cereal or oatmeal. So ample options for anyone's appetite.Parking: The spacious lot would be hard pressed to fill this place with park but it gets close .Kid-friendliness: The entire atmosphere was cognitive of the children and everything went off like a play.Wheelchair accessibility: There were 3 different sets of doors that led inside and they were welcoming to handicap and all alike .“
