“For a country club I expected slightly more as a retired country club chef. The food was good, nothing special as far as presentation goes and drinks were served in Styrofoam cups! Really??? Service was okay (adequate) not the standards I demanded in the Country Clubs where I executive chef. At least use real glassware in your dining room for Pete's sake. A little garnish on your plates goes a long way and above average attention by the service staff.“

I told her tonight, in fact, that it is one of - if not THE - most consistent restaurants as far as preparation of food that is in the surrounding Columbia area. Also, our server, Christina (sp) is always spot on in her delivery, her understanding of the menu, and service and we look forward to having her wait on us each and every time. “This review is specifically for the newer Redbank location. We had a late night concert Monday night at the White Knoll High School PAC center and decided afterwards to go to this location. We weren't aware that they closed at 9pm until after we were leaving. Most of our party arrived at 8:15pm but we had some stragglers that arrived at 8:40pm. The entire staff was soooooooo incredible and accommodating, everyone helping each other get drinks, refills, bread and food out soooooooo quickly. Not one time did we ever feel "rushed" or "hovered" over to "hurry up." Instead they just let us enjoy our dining experience! The food was fantastic, even at the end of the shift, it was still all so fresh and delicious! I think we wrapped up our bills at 9:30pm. We all thanked the servers and all the management staff for allowing us to stay and enjoy our meal and we humbly apologized to them honestly not knowing the time they closed. The manager reassured us it was no problem at all and asked us if we enjoyed everything, food, service and all. We enthusiastically replied YES! I just wanted to specifically shout out to the store and staff how wonderful our dining experience was. I'm sorry for posting a few days afterwards, but please know your team was phenomenal and it didn't go unnoticed. Ty so very much again!“

Fresh, well stocked Salad bars and fresh sandwich topping/condiment bar. Creative entree offerings such as Gyros, Croissant French Toast, Breakfast Pizza. Great fresh inventory. Side private dining/presentation rooms. As CIU opened its doors to our leadership conference the Cafeteria Service laid out a spread with a smile.

“I’ve been coming to Rush’s for years every time I come into the Columbia area. The food is so good! The burger is always amazing. The milkshake is a nice dessert. But those fries. They are delicious! I normally use ketchup as a habit with most fries I eat. These are the only fries that I feel the ketchup is not needed. To me, that is the sign of a good fry! Keep it up. If I could get a Rush’s in the upstate, I’d be even happier!“

“We had wonderful food (the daily special which had two complete chicken breasts on one sandwich) and the shrimp basket. Both were excellent. The slaw and hushpuppies were good too. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. This is the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen...there was not one tiny speck of food or paper on the floor anywhere even though there were diners on all sides of the room. We shall return.“

“We had an amazing dinner on Thursday. The waitress was amazing and super nice. They accommodated me being on crutches and wanting a table for 4 by the window. There was only 2 in my party, but need space for my leg and not be in the way. We started going to this location about 3 years ago and it was the best decision. “This was a veteran's appreciation meal. A lot of veteran's with family were there. The wait time was an hour. They kept me posted on where I was on the wait list which made the wait not difficult. Once at my table, the service was good and fast. The waitress was very polite and professional. The food was wonderful! The meal was complimentary; which allowed us to tip the waitress even more since her service was so professional.“

“Went inside to place a to go order. I had the Steak and Fries, along with 10 Sweet and Spicy wings. I ordered my Steak all the way, and it was delicious! I was really surprised of how flavorful the wings were, they were great! I also like the fact they put some of the wing sauce with the wings, that made it great for dipping. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was nice.“
