“This review is specifically for the newer Redbank location. We had a late night concert Monday night at the White Knoll High School PAC center and decided afterwards to go to this location. We weren't aware that they closed at 9pm until after we were leaving. Most of our party arrived at 8:15pm but we had some stragglers that arrived at 8:40pm. The entire staff was soooooooo incredible and accommodating, everyone helping each other get drinks, refills, bread and food out soooooooo quickly. Not one time did we ever feel "rushed" or "hovered" over to "hurry up." Instead they just let us enjoy our dining experience! The food was fantastic, even at the end of the shift, it was still all so fresh and delicious! I think we wrapped up our bills at 9:30pm. We all thanked the servers and all the management staff for allowing us to stay and enjoy our meal and we humbly apologized to them honestly not knowing the time they closed. The manager reassured us it was no problem at all and asked us if we enjoyed everything, food, service and all. We enthusiastically replied YES! I just wanted to specifically shout out to the store and staff how wonderful our dining experience was. I'm sorry for posting a few days afterwards, but please know your team was phenomenal and it didn't go unnoticed. Ty so very much again!“

“We’ve been to Luckys twice now and loved it both times. In August, we ordered the wings and they were more than excellent! Last night we got the Lucky burger and it was unbelievable. The onion shoestrings were too. We had the fried oysters as an appetizer and not only were they breaded and cooked perfectly but the sauces that came with them were very tasty. Darrell, Stacie and the staff really make the place friendly and fun. There seems to be a regular crowd and they are there to have fun. People welcomed us and we felt like part of the group right away. Last night, as on many Fridays, they had live music. We will be making it one of our regular places to go.“

“How is it possible that we didn't know this gem of a restaurant existed? Some dear friends recommended Murray's to us so we decided to try it tonight. The food is SO GOOD! Fresh, made-to-order food!!! We were fortunate enough to have Amanda as our server (she is also one of the managers). Amanda knows the difference between service and HOSPITALITY. “The food was really good. I do have to say that the hush puppies for a little bit weird. They were shaped like an onion ring and had too much cornmeal for my taste. The service was mediocre. Our waiter was friendly enough but when we asked for ketchup, he bought a massive and full of ketchup packets. I'm not sure what was going on, whether they ran out of ketchup for the bottles or what, I just found it a little bit odd that customers were expected to open packet after packet. I can't really say anything bad about the server, but he didn't do anything to stand out either. The restaurant was almost empty so I can't really comment on the atmosphere. But overall this is a pretty good place to eat.“

The fried shrimp were golden and juicy, not greasy, and had that classic crunch you hope for. And the hush puppies? Pillowy, savory, and slightly sweet—exactly what you'd want to round out a seafood feast.

Service was quick and friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. For a fast-casual spot, Captain D’s really nailed the flavor and quality. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re craving seafood with a Southern twist!“
