“First time experiencing and take out.... I think we have a new chinese food restaurant to patron. Egg rolls are huge! Combo: Chicken w mixed vegetables was so hearty. Veggies were all my favorites and was able to request no onions. Only suggestion would be to make chicken in bite size pieces. Enough for at least 2-3 meals first me.
*Hubby said they can also do Japanese hibachi style foods too.“

“I started coming here early this year and have probably averaged 1 to 2 times a week. I love this place. In the evening, the owner is usually here. Sophia. She is so nice. Her husband is usually in the back cooking. Often when I come to a place like this, I really don't know what to order. Every time, she just picks something for me. Spicy or not and then it appears. Price is good and portions are very large. I read the other reviews. In my experience, I have loved this place as one of my favorite and I will keep coming back.“

“i highly recommend this place the food is the best Ive found here in 4 years. I love the food. the shrimp meals are all loaded with x large pieces of shrimp. love it. the brown sauce is the best. the egg rolls are excellent, and the egg drop soup is the best I have found and I won't order it anywhere else. so good. ask for scallions if u like them. love it. fried rice is so good and they offer it with any protein or vegetable. and last but not least the egg foo young is the best I've ever had anywhere.
the staff is always so kind they know who I am now from my previous orders so it's nice to call in and treat you like family. they know exactly what I want and how I like it. they are very accommodating to how you want your order. the smoothies are so refreshing. There are about 6 tables for family seating. I have found my go to Chinese food restaurant here. you will not be disappointed.“

“We just finished a delicious and fresh meal for dinner from this place. We ordered Orange and Kung Pao chicken. We are not locals here and were searching for a take out place to get a quick meal. I’m glad we decided to order from this place. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. There was plenty of vegetables in my Kung Pao chicken. The fried rice was nice and fresh. Our 6 year old loved the egg roll. My husband ordered Orange chicken. The chicken pieces were massive with a sweet savory sauce. Overall we are very satisfied with our meals. The portion sizes were huge. If we were not staying in a hotel we would have saved leftovers for a meal. Definitely going to order again from this place next time!“

“Egg roll.chen used to be my go to Asian food. Something has changed recently. The quality of the meat is not as good as it used.to be. Not sure what changed. Even my young daughter says it's different and doesn't want to eat the chicken. Hope they rectify the situation.“

“The food is good & plentiful. We definitely got our money’s worth. The large order of rice was filled to the brim. Enough for 6 servings for me. The hibachi combo also came with a lot of rice. I didn’t know it came with vegetables and they put them at the base of the chicken so it looks more full with chicken than it really is but is still a really good amount for the price. The fried crab sticks are not exactly how I’m used to from NJ or PA, but still good. The quality of the food was good as well. We would return.“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at Good Taste! The food was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The shrimp fried rice was delicious, the chicken with broccoli was perfectly cooked, and the wings were crispy and tasty. The portions were generous, and everything was ready quickly. “I give the portion a 5 and taste a 3, so we’ll call this one a 4 overall. Got the orange chicken for lunch. Wasn’t great and wasn’t terrible, but I’ve had better from the mall. The portion size may not look like a lot, but it was packed in there, probably enough for two meals. I’d be willing to go again and try something else on the menu.“

The veggies were fresh and although some people do not like the veggies cut so large, I think they are perfect. Egg rolls were scrumptious and large . “This is the best Chinese I’ve had in the metro area of Columbia. Most Chinese restaurants have greasy entrées and fried rice and lo mein. Everything I’ve had here is good from the spring rolls to the crab Rangoon to the entrées and the gohan.“

“I usually don't leave reviews but this place was really good. I was surprised by the variety of options they had. Their hibachi had a lot of food, really good portions. I also tried the oysters and they were really good!!! The staff was very kind, the food came out fast. I wish I lived in the area to go back often!“

“Everything you could want for Chinese take out. General Tso’s Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, teriyaki chicken on a stick, hot and sour soup, and egg rolls were all fantastic. Our bill for all of that was $40 and we have enough left over for another meal.

But what is better than the food are the people behind the plate. This appeared to be a family run restaurant with mom and dad running the kitchen and their son and daughter helping out up front. The kids were so well mannered. This is a business worth supporting and the folks who have left negative reviews need to do some soul searching and find some perspective in life.“

“Anytime I visit a new city for work I always have to find a reliable Asian Cousine joint and I have found the one for Lexington/Columbia. I got their Teriyaki Chicken sticks and an order of the Hibachi house special. Id love to add a photo of the sticks but I ate them in the car on the way home lol. They also gave me a free sprite and had very good customer service when I was inside. Will be visiting again.“
