“We just finished a delicious and fresh meal for dinner from this place. We ordered Orange and Kung Pao chicken. We are not locals here and were searching for a take out place to get a quick meal. I’m glad we decided to order from this place. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. There was plenty of vegetables in my Kung Pao chicken. The fried rice was nice and fresh. Our 6 year old loved the egg roll. My husband ordered Orange chicken. The chicken pieces were massive with a sweet savory sauce. Overall we are very satisfied with our meals. The portion sizes were huge. If we were not staying in a hotel we would have saved leftovers for a meal. Definitely going to order again from this place next time!“

“Our first time to this buffet was great. The atmosphere is what you would expect but I made this review for our server. Sue is a nice lady with the best attitude and she was so sweet to myself and my daughter. We only spent around 45 minutes in the restaurant but she made sure to check on us and her conversation was warm and inviting. Thank you Sue for your care and catering!“

“Egg roll.chen used to be my go to Asian food. Something has changed recently. The quality of the meat is not as good as it used.to be. Not sure what changed. Even my young daughter says it's different and doesn't want to eat the chicken. Hope they rectify the situation.“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at Good Taste! The food was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The shrimp fried rice was delicious, the chicken with broccoli was perfectly cooked, and the wings were crispy and tasty. The portions were generous, and everything was ready quickly. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent. Great quality food at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be coming back again!

“The food is good & plentiful. We definitely got our money’s worth. The large order of rice was filled to the brim. Enough for 6 servings for me. The hibachi combo also came with a lot of rice. I didn’t know it came with vegetables and they put them at the base of the chicken so it looks more full with chicken than it really is but is still a really good amount for the price. The fried crab sticks are not exactly how I’m used to from NJ or PA, but still good. The quality of the food was good as well. We would return.“

“Pros: Closet thing to NJ Chinese Food. I’ve lived in SC since 2018 and at point I just didn’t eat Chinese food because everywhere was so nasty but this place gives me a touch of home. They do have the best Cheese Wontons /Crab Ragoon. Honey wings are great, fried rice is always a hit . Wings taste really good. The front desk guy is really nice and remembers his customers. I remember one time it was raining and I was in my car and he came out and bring it to me without me evenings asking (which I wouldn’t have lol but i didn’t know it was ready). This place can get busy but my food is ALWAYS ready and I typically order for 5 people.

Cons: Price is a bit high in my opinion. Be careful when you try to buy certain things without rice because they charge you as if you got rice. Not all Prices reflect on their actual menu, I had to call this out at one point. I typically don’t see any of them wear gloves, which does bother me a bit.“

“I enjoy and come to this place often. However, I order my food it usually comes out great. They are kind and well-mannered people here. I am from New Jersey, so I look forward to eating here as the food reminds of Chinese food from back home. The woman that works the register is always kind. She knows my number and greets me kindly any time I call. The young man that helps in the front is kind as well. The kitchen seems well put together and is in order. The dining area is always clean when I walk in. I'm always in and out my food takes 15 always on time. Even when they had forgotten my shrimp fired rice one night. They were kind enough to document it in their system and told me to return during the week and I ended up going there for my lunch break and it was hot and ready for me. I have witnessed and seen customers being rude to the woman in the front. I will say this treat people kindly. They are willing to fix mistakes as we are human we all make them no one is perfect. I have cherished these people and respect their business and hope they continue to stay open as not many restaurants in Columbia South Carolina keep consistency with their food. I would say check them out and get your whole wings fried hard.“

“I ordered over the phone. Took about 10 min for them to prepare my food (I wasn’t far) walked in the restaurant was clean. I ordered orange chicken and fried rice. When I got my food it was very fresh. The chicken was hot and steaming so was the rice. It also had a very good taste. Very impressed. I’ve been to a lot of Chinese food spots and they always miss on quality and flavor. This deserves 5 stars. Everything was fresh and hot.“

“Been getting my Chinese food from here since I moved to the NE side of town. The lady who picks up the phone is always so nice and pleasant, the food is honestly always good! Never have I ever gotten cold or nasty food! Definitely would recommend 10/10. Them wings are GOODT!“

“The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing, the reception was warm, and the waiting time was short. The food was excellent overall, though it could have used a bit more salt. However, the flavors of the rice were rich enough that I hardly noticed the lack of salt. The wings were juicy and well-spiced. Overall, it was a great choice for lunch.“

“This is the best Chinese I’ve had in the metro area of Columbia. Most Chinese restaurants have greasy entrées and fried rice and lo mein. Everything I’ve had here is good from the spring rolls to the crab Rangoon to the entrées and the gohan.“

“I went to Panda tonight and overall the experience was positive. There was a good selection of entrees and plenty of each. Some changes had been made since my last visit probably due to pandemic precautions but nothing I couldn’t live with. Of particular note was the great attitude and politeness of the staff. An employee said, “welcome to Panda!”, a first at this location. The employee who fixed my plate was cheerful and willing to fix it to my liking. I don’t usually write reviews, I read some of the reviews for this location and could identify with most of them. However, things have changed for the better and I hope it lasts.“

“I usually don't leave reviews but this place was really good. I was surprised by the variety of options they had. Their hibachi had a lot of food, really good portions. I also tried the oysters and they were really good!!! The staff was very kind, the food came out fast. I wish I lived in the area to go back often!“

“Everything you could want for Chinese take out. General Tso’s Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, teriyaki chicken on a stick, hot and sour soup, and egg rolls were all fantastic. Our bill for all of that was $40 and we have enough left over for another meal.

But what is better than the food are the people behind the plate. This appeared to be a family run restaurant with mom and dad running the kitchen and their son and daughter helping out up front. The kids were so well mannered. This is a business worth supporting and the folks who have left negative reviews need to do some soul searching and find some perspective in life.“

“Anytime I visit a new city for work I always have to find a reliable Asian Cousine joint and I have found the one for Lexington/Columbia. I got their Teriyaki Chicken sticks and an order of the Hibachi house special. Id love to add a photo of the sticks but I ate them in the car on the way home lol. They also gave me a free sprite and had very good customer service when I was inside. Will be visiting again.“
