“Edmund’s Original is one of our favorite restaurants in Charleston. It’s the perfect mix of quality and price, with a team that always makes us feel right at home. I can’t speak highly enough of this place. Whenever someone comes to visit from out of town, we bring them to EO so they can get a taste of what we’re fortunate to enjoy regularly. The food is phenomenal - from the fried chicken to the burger to the steak, and everything in between. The beer selection is top notch. In-house developed cocktails are creative, while the classics are on point if that’s more your speed. The chocolate cake and an espresso martini are the perfect touch to finish it all off! Oh, and don’t sleep on the special events they host! When the chef teams up with other chef’s from around the state, they always deliver a unique and delicious experience!“

“When we travel to Charleston from WV we always visit WildFlour Pastry for a Hot chai and raspberry scone. 😋 This week was my daughters 21st Birthday so of course we went to WildFlour and purchased a Red Velvet Cake to celebrate. “I stayed at La Quinta and searched for restaurants within walking distance . What a pleasant surprise to be walking next to a picturesque marina to this delightful restaurant. My server was Gabrielle I believe, she was very attentive and helpful in selecting my choices I sat out on the patio next to the marina and had a great caesar salad topped with blackened shrimp that was fresh and delicious. Their famous croissant lives up to the hype. On a side note a little research uncovered that the restaurant is located in the historic Union Station building, which was originally built as a passenger railroad station in 1902. I’ll definitely be back“

“food burned. horrific service with bad attitudes. no parking at all. no bathrooms. smoke-filled place. commented on a post of theirs and this was how they replied. zero accountability and customer shaming. sir/mam, whoever you are. if you been doing this for many years, then that gives even less of an excuse to provide such poor quality food and service. you claim the locals know about you. I've been here for years and never heard your name ever mentioned once in any pizza recommendation post. Actually, never heard of you at all. EVER! Now I know why. And by the way, those paper thin slices you sell for $11 or 2 is laughable. In NYC they sold $1 slices heftier than that. One last thing. your sign on the outside states one price for your "SPECIAL" and the sign on the inside is a different price. Clearly you lack consistency and integrity with everything across the board.“

“First let me say, the pizza was delicious!! Thin, crispy crust…the kind of yumminess you get from a wood burning oven. The perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and flavor. I don’t know what it’s like normally, but it was very slow and I for sure thought that the service would have been better…it was meh. Pretty cool atmosphere, but I was sitting at the bar and I can’t say I appreciated the bartender coming on duty spraying cleaning supplies and pouring bleach while I sat there. Don’t get me wrong, I love the smell of cleat, but I don’t enjoy inhaling the cleaning spray while I eat. If I come back, I’ll sit at a table to enjoy a delicious pizza.“

“Hey the Presentation of Food Here is beautiful but for anyone recovering from sick some things can be difficult to eat considering some of the food is very overdone and hard so I would really appreciate it if some of the food was more tender and crushed into smaller pieces.m but other than that food is amazing and desserts are wonderful.“
