We've tried this restaurant several times. Each time they were out of what we wanted, even took out orders and came back to say they didn't have the items. The last straw for us was the cleanliness issue and an employee that just went around spraying bleach on the tables wiping them with a rag. The bleach smell made us feel ill and gave us headaches. Not good, not bad. Pet peeve is breakfast restaurants that serve butter by leaving those small butter 'pods' that you have to unwrap to get about 1/2 teaspoon of butter. The place is 'okay'. Oh, and the menu I has given was a one page paper menu that looked like it had been used to wipe off the table. The Honeycomb Cafe has been on Daniel Island for a while, so I thought I'd give it a try for breakfast. When I looked at the menu it was mostly pretty standard breakfast items; but a little expensive for what you get. I wanted some fresh juice so I ordered a large OJ which was expensive, but I thought it would be fresh squeezed; however tasted like it came out of a jug.
