“We have been going here for many years and often we order the same thing depending on time of day. This time I went for dinner and order the pecan crusted chicken sandwich which I have ordered several times before. When the food came the sandwich was cut in half. I noticed that half of the sandwich had a small cut of chicken. I thought that the chicken maybe had been cut off centered. But, as I looked at the other half of the sandwich the piece of chicken was the same small size. It literally looked like a chicken tender had been cut in half and placed on the toast. It was very disappointing. We asked the waitress about it and she took it back to the kitchen. In the end they brought us 2 more sandwiches the same way. This sandwich was not worth the money.“

“The vibe here is amazing! I love a double entendre so walking in to see a sign that says “meat here” with a giant arrow instantly gives me the giggles! The multicolored decor and cool artwork made it hard to do anything but keep smiling. As soon as we’re seated our waitress says “I love your earring and all your jewlery” and I was smitten. I took my jacket off right as she was brining our food. “I love your tattoos” she says and I’m falling in love with this place. The cheesin steak sandwich is smothered in cheese, the wings are crispy, our appetizers came out fast and hot, and the atmosphere was great. I was having such a good time I didn’t even mind the watered down, chunkless blu cheese. You won’t either I promise! My husband and friends notified the waitress it was my 29th birthday to which she replied “29 would have never guessed your 29!” and I’m a little shocked. The thing is it was 13th 29th birthday so I reply “ and how old did you think I was?” I’m expecting a 35 or 36…. She says “24!” I laughed so much and said “I’m actually 42” and it was her turn to be shocked. She actually insisted I pull out my ID and that’s when I knew this lunch date was a Flirtatious Fork 5 star “Marry Me” good! ❤️ the food, the vibe, the service, the drinks (get the emerald godness, it’s amazing!) 💔 having to leave and knowing there isn’t a groovy beast near me! If im ever in Gastonia again I’ll go back!“

“Quite a strange name of the place. Pelicans are avian of temperate weather zones. Snowballs are typically in a colder climate zone. So .. Mixing the two gives it a whimsical avant garde atmosphere. The kids love it. It's good.. It's a happy time and place. You must come here. Oh yes I dare say you must.“

“We ate here this past Friday and we can't wait to go back! This is a very good restaurant, with great southern and seafood cooking. The bartender, I think his name was Sam was beyond exceptional! He filled us in on the vast menu and gave us a few recommendations that were on par! He made us feel like we were at home and was very attentive to our needs. Normally, when we go out to eat we have to tell our server/bartender what we need. With Sam, he was just on top of things and was on point! We will be back and back again. “About over 12 years ago, they opened a location in Matthew's Weddington. Where there is a Subway, Panda, HT, Shell, and a Karate place. A big church right next door. I remember a long time ago, my brother and I went to get Subway (closed now) Hwy 55 was right beside it (Now Papa's pizza pick up) over 12 years ago, I remember the owner was brand new starting this burger shake business and came out to talk to me. Said all these good things about the menu and how it brings back memories of the 1980s and older diner experience. I was only 20 something and sadly refused. Now I'm 33 (more mature) and very interested in history, especially the legendary old school diner experience. Will definitely visit real soon. Hope the owner understands about me not giving you guys a chance over 12 years ago. I feel bad, lol. Will definitely try now and many more.“

“We were coming from a doctor’s appointment and decided to stop by. I don’t have pictures but the food here was very good. Everything was cooked the way we wanted it and I have no problem coming back next time we go there. The staff were friendly and the vibe was relaxed. The burger was amazing ?.
