Great place for good beer and solid bar food. My wife had sliders with spicy cheese, excellent flavor with a quality kick! French fries were hot and fresh and obviously cooked in clean oil. I had a pepperoni pizza that hit the spot! but the best food is the wings! I definitely recommend coming here!
Just tried the new lunch menu from Black Market Tavern. The beef stew was incredibly flavorful. The menu said it took 7 hours to slow cooked the beef, and it shows. The meat was so rich and tender and came right off the bone when the fork touched it. The curry pork chop was also wonderful. It was crunchy on the outside, but inside, the pork was soft and juicy. The curry sauce was just the right amount of spicy which added a lot of flavor to the perfect texture of the pork chop....read full review

Giving this pub five stars for service. Randall and Brian were great to deal with at the bar for lunch. Stopped here while traveling through the city on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The beer choices were excellent and the menu seemed adequate for a pub. Atmosphere was what I like in a setting like this. Ordered the wings which were very good and properly prepared. Served hot and fresh. I will return if ever in the city again.
