“Came in later in the evening, so milkshakes weren't an option, but the ice cream (birthday cake) cone was delicious. The young lady at the counter was very nice and complimented my crazy t-shirt. There is a self-serve option by the pound that seemed to be working for other customers and candy options as well. It's a block from the beach, so beachfront prices, but i didn't mind supporting a local seasonal business. Parking will also be an issue, so unless you park on a nearby side street or get lucky with a curbside spot, you'll likely have to hoof it.“
“We are tourist this week. We're tagging along on my husband's work trip. My daughter wanted an iced coffee. We came across the shop in our morning adventuring. We ordered an iced coffee make with almond milk and vanilla syrup. She would not stop going on how good her drink was! Thanks for thr great coffee!“
“Sorbets + Cookies - Strawberry Lime Sorbet & Biscoff Almond Crunch were awesome and most popular. We came in November and it was very mellow, chill, no line and the young girl was nice & helpful.Dietary restrictions: Egg free, diary free, & gluten free options available.“
“Had to wait in a short line, but the owner let us know right away. I loved the transparency. It was a cool spot to hangout in and watch the nitrogen ice cream being made right in front of our eyes. The ice cream was to die for! I can’t wait to come back!“
“Off-Track is the cherry on top after any meal! From their unique flavor combinations (Vegan Cookie Monster to Key Lime Pie) & inclusive flavor options for vegans & gluten-free individuals! It is not too sweet — which I appreciate — and there is tons of creativity behind local ingredients & homemade syrups and sauces to baked stir-ins. They do not skimp on the hard work behind this outstanding ice cream shop!Dietary restrictions: There are tons of gluten free ice creams & baked goods. Also, they have a wide range of vegan ice creams with vegan toppings!“
“I wish I knew about this place sooner! It's a fun place for a sweet treat after dinner on John's Island! Love how cute the interior was! There is some indoor and outdoor seating. It was delicious and they had tons of topping options. FYI: This is not a self-serve froyo place. You order at the counter and they make it for you! We ordered a medium and a small. They were both good serving sizes.“
“If you're looking for a great selection of quality-made ice cream in downtown Charleston. This parlor is the place to go. Each different flavor of ice cream here is unique and delicious. There is something for everyone, there's even sorbets for those who cannot consume dairy products. They offer samples as well so you can find exactly which flavors you enjoy. The place is cozy, clean, and smells like the freshly made waffle cones that they make there. However, there is limited seating, so this is more of a to-go ice cream parlor. Overall a great place for some cold treats.Dietary restrictions: There are dairy-free options available.Parking: King Street parking is always difficult.Kid-friendliness: Great place to take the kids.“
“Solid coffee at a reasonable price which was surprising given it is located in Charleston Place. The iced latte was smooth and creamy and very enjoyable. My wife enjoyed the iced americano which I noticed they topped off with bottled Fiji water (wow). Service can be a bit slow but it's to be expected when your coffee is well made.“
“Awesome bakery, everything we brought was simply amazing. Was visiting from Ohio and found this gem!! That pecan sticky bun I ordered was divine. I'll be back for that alone. The cookies were melt in your mouth. The prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to go “
“Other than DQ and Ryan's, I don't have any memories of soft-serve in Charleston. But the transplants rave about the places back where they're from, and it's hard not to feel like I missed out on something truly wonderful. Then Turbo Cone shows up and instantly fills that anemoia with their catchy name, retro branding and simple options. The entire experience is a vibe, and it's hard not to fall in love. My favorite, oddly enough, is just the swirl (chocolate and vanilla) in a waffle cone. The flavor and texture make it; it's nothing fancy or decadent, but it's such a treat. Our son dips his in something different every time, and loves that as much as I love my swirl cone. They've got something for everyone. Thanks to the owners for sharing a piece of their childhood with us. I get the soft-serve thing now, and I'm grateful I'm able to make similar childhood memories with our son.“
“My favorite when visiting Charleston! Lots of different flavors and a fun experience while you walk through the historic city. Sales person Damian explained all the different products very well. They also have ice cream for kids and give free water to homeless people! A great example of a successful veteran owned business.“
“This is one of the best places on the MUSC campus. This is operated by a husband and wife combo. Jose are Wendy are the best. They know all of their regulars on a first name basis, and its remarkable that they can remember everyone's names. This place is 10/10!“
“Great way to get a pick me up after dinner. Stopped in to get a couple double espresso shots ☕ to wake up for round two of the weekend. Conveniently located around the corner from the Fleet Landing before we hit King Street for a Charleston night out! ?“
“Stopped by this Costco while in the area just to stock up on alcohol for the holidays. Having the ABC store separate from the main store made it super quick and easy to pick up a bunch of libations at a reduced price. Great selection and we have found the Kirkland brand liquors of great quality. The spiced rum is surprisingly delicious and a great deal.“
“Walflin is a FANTASTIC addition to Downtown Charleston. Don't let the location deter you - it shares a shop with an antique store (maybe the same owner?) which is a little odd but I am so happy I tried it. The waffles are incredible and the staff always goes above and beyond. Everyone is so friendly and I can't say enough about the food - SO GOOD! Plus, the waffles are pretty easy to carry around, so no need to eat your dessert inside this antique shop if you don't want - take a stroll down market street while devouring this indulgent dessert!“
“GREAT CHEAP COFFEE!SUPPORT NON PRICE GOUGING LOCAL!Walking down to the shop and grabbing their reasonably priced coffee in the morning has become an almost every day habit. The friendly staff makes it easy to start my day off on a pleasant note! Especially the older gentleman, who is seemingly in an eternal good mood! Keep up the good work!“
“I was Charleston for a week unfortunately very ill for several of days, Peace Pie was outside my hotel and seemed like the best option for my ravaged stomach. I literally lived on them for three days and tried probably half the options. All of them were amazing, though the blueberry cobbler was the stand out, absolutely fantastic. I am so sad that I live 7 states away.“
“Been wanting to go here since we moved here 3 years ago! Definitely did not disappoint! The cosmic dog was amazing and I loved the Sweet Potato mustard! Fries were hot and delicious and you can’t go wrong with a cold root beer! The staff was beyond friendly and service was quick! Will definitely be back! Also loved the Star Wars decor!“
“We stopped in to get some ice cream while some other members of our party were on a carriage ride. We just so happened to catch tg fudge show and it was amazing!! At the end we received samples of some delicious fudge and had to bring some home. If you hear the bell be sure to check it out!“
“We were visiting from Georgia for my birthday with our little dog, we happen to pull up on this little place to get something cool to drink I went in and the owner was very friendly and it was a beautiful little spot with a lot of delightful treats the owner was very personable and kind and I got a strawberry shake and several cookies the strawberry shake was delicious and the cookies were soft and scrumptious when we come back to the Charleston South Carolina and Mount pleasant South Carolina area we will definitely be back!“
“Macarons, Beneits, Chocolate and good coffee in the heart of Charleston. Even though it was 6PM, the macarons were crunchy and the beneits were soft. The lady served with a smile and even though seating is limited, we found a table. The ambiance is basic but quick service and good pastries make up for it.“
“Melissa and her team at Ye Ole did an awesome job tonight (3-21-24). I brought my 7th grade class to Charleston, and we ate dinner at Ye Ole Fashioned. They got us in and out with lightening speed and accuracy. The food and ice cream were delicious. If you visit Charleston, SC, head on over to Ye Ole Fashioned on Savanah Hwy.“
“A fun sensory overload of a million colorful sugar selections! I went for the overpriced pralines and fell for the sales/marketing ploy - "buy one pound, get half pound free". Delicious - not as good as Aunt Sally's, and still overpriced, but good pralines are better than no pralines. And they were fresh!“
“There's something truly special about the Baskin Robbins on Coleman Boulevard that sets it apart from any other ice cream shop. The cheerful atmosphere, delightful selection of flavors, and impeccably clean surroundings make every visit a joy.But the star of the show has to be their exceptional customer service, and for that, I have to give a shout-out to Kade. His knowledge of the menu and willingness to let customers sample flavors transformed my visit into a delightful adventure in ice cream tasting. He was not only accommodating but also brought a level of energy and enthusiasm that made the experience genuinely memorable.Kade, along with the rest of the staff, evidently takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and customer-friendly environment. It's clear that they all understand the value of superb service coupled with delicious ice cream.Overall, Baskin Robbins on Coleman Boulevard is a delightful destination for ice cream lovers, and Kade's exceptional service elevates it to an even higher level. I can't recommend this place enough!“
“Service was good, ice cream was delicious, and ambiance was decent. Overall a great experience and plan on going back for some of that chocolate chip chocolate ice cream. So good and want it again. Looking at the prices I may get a larger size. Huge difference from small to medium so worth the extra 2$. Share a medium before going with a small. The small was sooooo small.“
“So many different flavors of ice cream and so much fudge! The ice cream is very expensive (1 scoop in a waffle cone is over $7) so I'll have that another day. Then I moved on to the fudge. It's expensive too, but it's worth every bite! Today I sampled French Silk fudge, Chocolate Raspberry fudge, and Kilwins Mud fudge. All three were good so the decision was difficult to make. There was an option to buy two slices and get one slice free. I ended up with Kilwins Mud (a gift for a friend), French Silk, and Chocolate (these last two for me and my munchkins to share). The total price ended up being $31 and some change.“
“If you come here expecting a hut. There isn't a hut. However, there is some magical Ice cream infused with pineapple bliss, slam dunk, head thrill, rapture just for you.No, it's not a hut. The place is more like a trailer, with wheels and folding window parked in a parking lot. This just adds to the mystique.***** <--- 5 STARS for doing one thing, excessively well.“
