I was planning to take her kids trick or treating so she could focus on her mom and the grief she was processing. When I asked the kids if they wanted to try bowling they were super stoked. Unless I'm sitting at the bar, a free fire zone and good beer prices. The locals have lived all around America and as in all bars are represented by to many 'guys' from Pittsburg. The good booze prices mellow them out however and I actually like some of em'. The food is solid and real all the way to the mashed potatoes but the fries are even better. You won't see any baskets hanging on the wall or things hanging from the ceiling. Go to MB for that. If you want good food, service and locals with 50 different accents and friendly, stop and see us. The station has a 1/2 wall to separate the bar from the dining room both sides are good. My VA and PA family like both rooms. * there is bad, ok and good rating I give. Bad is bad, ok is ok and good is great. I just love good food..... it don't get better.“

“We had dinner at Perrone's Restaurant last night and every aspect of our meal was great. From friendly bartenders to attentive servers, we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. We tried an octopus and a mussel appetizer, and both were flavorful and delicious. The mussel sauce in particular was so good, I could have sopped it up with an entire loaf of bread. Entrees were generous portions, and the chocolate cake for dessert was really good. If you are within an hour of this restaurant and have not tried it, you're missing one of the two or three best on the entire Grand Strand.“

When you can't decide, hot chick, and Smoak ring pizzas were really, really good! All the pizzas are 10 inch and cooked to perfection, coming out of a woodfired oven gives them such great flavor! “Tonight was my second visit to this lovely local gem! I brought my Mother in, who is visiting me for her 84th Birthday. This is her 4th Birthday spent in the Inlet, & her 1st time dining with y’all. My Son also joined us. We three have all worked in fine dining through the years, traveled extensively, and consider ourselves in our own rite, restaurant critiques! We may be over shooting, but we also like to think we are hard pressed to order food out that is better than we can prepare ourselves. Honestly, Most dining experiences are largely disappointing! You, my new favorite folks..broke the mold! We were seated at the bar (at our request,) & “Mare,” our barkeep was happy to allow my Mom a few samplings of the wine to find just the perfect accompaniment to her meal. She’s kinda’ picky with her wine, and Mare was a jewel..THANK YOU for that my Dear. She was kind & most accommodating! Who needs a table anyway? Haha! We ordered cocktails, and the Caprese Salad appetizer! Simply the most impressive Caprese I’ve ever seen or eaten! This tomatoes were as big as my hand!!! Red, ripe & delicious! So impressive! Thank you AGAIN! We ordered 3 Entrees, one of which was a daily feature. Salads served first..to die for creamy Italian Dressing, made in house! Each Dinner was beautifully presented, with a giant stainless bowl of Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese to spread over top! Now THAT’s how it’s done! They were all melt in your mouth amazing, and the portions were huge! And that bread, with the garlic..come on now 🤌🏼 The best! Seriously blown away! We were too stuffed for dessert, however the hardworking and efficient barback (Vinnie i think) offered and we simply couldn’t say no! He was such a great kid! We ordered a Tiramisu to go! “This is a great place for food, drinks, sports, and chatting with others. The staff is great (especially Dee outside on the weekends!) and the food is really good. It is a real restaurant that happens to have two great bars (indoor and outdoor) as opposed to a bar that also has food.

Among the dishes we have tried - all have been excellent - peel and eat shrimp, fish tacos, burgers and salads.

There is also a place to sit outside with your beverage in Adirondack chairs and enjoy the beautiful ocean view.

Despite being an ocean front property the prices are actually quite reasonable for what you get.

There is a parking lot across the street as well taking away any worries about finding parking if you are coming from any distance (we are typically able to walk - but we would drive if staying further away, because it's our new favorite.)

Having all of the games on but "real" food means I can accompany my husband when he's watching his favorite sports and not worry that I'm going to starve or be forced to eat super salty "bar food" that just doesn't thrill me.

Almost ordered the rib eye this last time and after seeing it on a plate nearby I'm sure it's what I'll enjoy the next time!!“
