“The best experience we’ve had especially with our 3 year old! Nikki the mermaid and Kelly the server treated us so awesome! We weren’t sure about the mermaids before coming so we almost waited for summer for the experience. Well we decided to go and there thy mermaid was! Super sweet and never got tired of showing our daughter her flips and tail flaps. And Kelly was very attentive and even helped calm our child when she slid out of her chair. And also made sure to hand her some treasure! We will definitely be back and we hope to see the same team working!“

“These folks are literally so nice. I see staff assisting elderly people with their drinks to their tables and going the extra mile. They are kind and accommodating. We have been in a handful of times since living here and we have ALWAYS had exceptional service and of course the food has been delicious. Many of our guests and family that visit us will stop over and eat here, they all have loved it. If there is anything that they can adjust for you or alter, provided that ingredient is not part of the recipe, for instance, hold the marinara sauce, they will do it. All you have to do is ask. “Malibu was the first Italian restaurant we went to when we moved to Myrtle Beach. We loved it then and still do. However, on our recent visit, another couple joined us. We discovered they don’t do separate checks. They explained, but for 4 people adding up the bill isn’t hard. Most restaurants will do separate checks. The other thing I noticed, they’re portions have gotten smaller. The first time I had Mama’s sauce I could barely finish it. Not this time. Significantly smaller. I hope they change their portions.“

“We had heard about this place for a long time and finally tried it a few months ago. It is now our favorite spot. A friendly neighborhood local place with better than homemade food. The Beaver Bar sits happily in Murrells Inlet offering to quell your thirst while extending a middle finger to any who pass judgment. Established in 2009 by Leslye Beaver, the non-drinking and non-smoking owner, she also has a similar dive in Sturgis, South Dakota. Although I am not a biker, nor a hard-core drinker, I do like the vibe especially after a day in the sand. It rattles my "Give 'em a whirl meter" to the bone when the bikes roll in or the drum hits the downbeat. I say go for it.“
