However, what truly stood out was their unparalleled customer service. Upon encountering a slight delay in preparing my order due to an issue with the gravy, the kitchen manager personally approached me to explain the situation. Not only did he offer alternative menu options to expedite my meal, but he also went above and beyond by ensuring I was comfortable during the brief wait. Despite my reassurance that there was no rush on my end, he generously provided pastries to enjoy while patiently waiting for my dish to be ready. It's rare to encounter such transparency and genuine concern for customer satisfaction in the restaurant industry. The Junction Kitchen exemplifies what true hospitality means, setting a standard that many others could learn from. As for the meal itself, it surpassed expectations. “What a wonderful stay we had at the North Charleston Marriott!! Jessica at the front desk is absolutely incredible!! She was very sweet, professional and accommodating to all the guests…a true gem! Housekeeping also did a great job and we love that they even offer housekeeping since some hotels don’t in these post-Covid days. This hotel is in a great location, just off I-26, close to the outlet stores and restaurants, but far enough away from all the traffic in that area. Our room was a King Junior Suite and it was very spacious, with one and a half bathrooms, and a comfortable couch. Not a lot of drawer storage for clothes (2 small drawers in the desk & 1 under the safe), but there was plenty of room to hang clothes to the left of the closet, so it all worked out. You can also hang some things in the small armoire/closet, but the items hang front to back, so it’s a little difficult to access things. The safe was plenty roomy and the bath and bed linens were nice. The bed is softer than our bed at home, but we both slept pretty well. We loved the walk-in shower and the water pressure and temperature were truly great! The bathrooms had built-in night lights behind the mirrors and the bed had this really cool ambient lighting above/behind the headboard that could be turned on or off. Lots of extra seating in this room with several chairs and the L shaped couch. The tv selection was just “ok”, in part because several of the channels, such as HGTV, did not come in. The wifi worked well at times, but no so well at other times. The AC worked well and there were plenty of places to charge your electronic devices. We ate dinner at the restaurant and Kelly & Becca were our severs on different nights. The food at the restaurant, HC Provisions, was excellent!! We had the wings, the chicken and waffles, the Caesar salad and the housemaid chips and they were all excellent! This hotel seems to be a popular venue for events. There was one going on Saturday night and we noticed several business functions going on during our stay as well. Crystal and Sheila were in the M Club Lounge at breakfast time and they were both great and did a great job of keeping everything well stocked. The breakfast offered scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, yogurt, cereal, muffins and pastries, hot oatmeal and biscuits and gravy till 10am. During the rest of the day, you could pop in for coffee, water, sodas and juices as well as snacks such as chips and cookies. The evening offered hors d’oeuvres but the one night (Monday) we arrived at 7:20pm, everything was already being cleaned up, so I guess we missed it. The outdoor area offered a pool and two fire pit areas which would be great to sit and catch up with friends and family if you were here with a small group. We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again.“

“Appreciated the convenience of walking distance to the performance venues. Atmosphere was a bit lacking and rather loud. Varied menu with ample selections, fair prices, appealing plating, and decent portions. Chicken was a bit tough and would've sent it back but traded with another at our table. Also, surprised that no coffee or hot tea options were available. We'd definitely return though.“

“We recently relocated to SC and been exploring places to eat. Overall we've been somewhat disappointed in our journey but definitely found a really good one in Neighborhood Tap House. Smoked wings were amazing and the Cuban was the best I've ever had. Great selection of beers. Service was top notch and a big thank you to our waitress Nico. A wonderful friendly greeting and great service. Very much appreciated, we'll be back.“

“I didn’t even eat here. Let me start from the beginning of my evening. My girlfriend and I attempted to go to three different restaurants and all of them had an hour and a half wait after finally finding a place, We had our dinner. Dinner was finished around 7:30 and as soon as I finished it, I had to poop. I held that poop until we finished our ghost tour 3 1/2 hours later, I tried to go to multiple different places all of which the restroom was absolutely disgusting. I tried to go to a Circle K, which was closed. And finally Old Faithful. I stopped at the Waffle House. The beautiful yellow sign shimmered in the distance, like a medic in the heat of battle. The bathroom was absolutely pristine. The cold water was like a glacial spring, and the hot water was hotter than I’ve ever experienced. The soap was full and it smelled good too. The toilet was just freshly cleaned. I’ve never experienced a more inviting toilet in the moment and I don’t know if it was from desperation or just pure beauty. I didn’t even eat here and I was treated better than I was the entire evening by the town of Charleston. This waffle House made my crappy/un crappy day (no pun intended) a little bit better. I wish there was a special option for six stars for my circumstance. From 16 and hung over to 27 and needing to poop Waffle House has never let a homie down….“

“We just moved to Park Circle and checked out Dig for lunch! William was SUCH a great addition to our time spent here and made us even more excited about our move. He was attentive, had great recommendations (that Orange frozen drink was a dream), and was very personal! Can't wait to be back.“
