“We met Adam the owner who came to hurricane hit Little Switzerland NC right after the storm subsided. He and his team brought massive amounts of supplies from BBQ grills and charcoal to baby needs, water, generators and even went so far on a return trip to bring a portable smoker and cooked an entire meal for our village. We decided after a month of volunteering to celebrate my wifes birthday here in lovely Charleston and of course a meal at the Codfathers restaraunt. The atmosphere is very English Pub style with a great selection of beers/ wine, friendly staff and large tasty portions at a great price. If you love fish and chips this is a must go !!

“I had a splendid experience here recently for the sip and shop! I tried a pilsner, a lager, and a sour, and my friend had the nachos. We loved everything and really liked the staff and the space! Indoor outdoor seating and great safe parking, not too crowded but not deserted, definitely family friendly.“

“Recently, we held a birthday party here and the entire night exceeded expectations. The staff stayed on top of refills, drink orders,
food orders, and they made sure the entire party of 30 plus was taken care of. I have never seen such a well oiled machine in any restaurant or bar and I have to give credit where credit is due. I ordered the 10 smoked wings, phosphate poutine fries, cheddar poppers, and armadillo eggs. Everything tasted amazing including the wings! The meat was smoked and juicy! As soon as you bite into the wing you capture the seasoning rub of the outside of the chicken and when dipped into the sauces makes it to die for. The chicken wing sizes are huge in size comparable to the size of most Chinese egg rolls. To be honest out of the ten wings I could only eat six before I felt full. The fries were covered in cheese curds brown gravy and topped with cheese to hold the gravy within the fries. It took us some time to drive here from James Island but well worth the drive and the wait!“

“Me and the wife love a good wine bar. This local chain is such a fun little spot to stop in and grab some small plates and some amazing glasses of wine. We’re part of the wine club and it’s truly worth the money! They do a great job curating the wine selection and the staff is so knowledgeable! Cannot recommend them enough. We’ve been to all the locations but this one in Summerville is our favorite for the surround walks and bars nearby.“

My son LOVED the playground area. He’s 8 and there were several other kids of various ages all having a blast. We chatted with some friendly folks until our table was ready. Food was yummy. Watermelon salad, ceviche, pecan pork chop, shark filet with shrimp, and kids corn dogs. The ceviche and shrimp were our favorites.
