“full disclosure: I used to work here. but that doesn't preclude me from saying that this place has great, inexpensive menu options. if you were ever served by me, you know that I always said "the Sunset and the Chicken Bacon Pepperjack are the most popular, and my favorite is the Midnight!" I plan on visiting on some days off from my new job; I'm addicted to the potato salad, so i have to get my fix!Vegetarian options: they are working to add a few more vegetarian options, and are always able to modify dishes to suit dietary needs!Dietary restrictions: they will do their best to meet your dietary needs and/or restrictions!“
“I love it here. Great stuff, great quality, BUT there is one issue I have and that’s that if you order a coffee or something like it, you’ll be waiting 15+ minutes on your order. If it’s super busy, you’ll be waiting 30 or so minutes.“
“Great food. I had the deluxe BLT on sourdough, which had avocado and an egg. The best sandwich I have had in a long time.Eggs benediction was OK because almost NO hollandaise, the best part. The waitress wasn't good. Tipped her only 15 percent. Slow, waited on salt and pepper, drinks came after we were half way through meal, couldn't get Jelly or refills, check took forever and we asked for a side to hollandaise and that came finally when we found her and asked again after we were almost done eating....and then she charged for it.Anyway. Good food and hopefully you won't get our waitress.“
“I have to come here at least twice a month for their amazing breakfast. My favorite is the fried chicken hash breakfast bowl with over easy eggs on top. Their eclairs are delicious, and I usually get one to go because the breakfast is so filling.“
“Though situated perfectly in a manufactured craftsman community, any other place may feel inauthentic…but for all the innate uppity-ness of high money, lululemon-wearing, Stanley toting, DILK patrons, Chestnut is a real coffee shop and very good one at that. Perfect Americano and every sweet drink is always good.“
“This is our favorite restaurant by far. We literally pick up one of their kids' meals (plus more) every Friday night for our daughter. The food is delicious. The staff is so sweet. One staff member in particular, Michelle, is so thoughtful and includes sweet notes/things for our daughter in the kids' meal. You can't find this in a chain restaurant. We love this place!“
“BEST COFFEE SHOP EVAAAA! Not only do they have sweet treats (and gluten free ones), but they also have such good coffee! The plants give me so much serotonin. People are happier when they are at village grind! Do you like plants, coffee, and have immaculate vibes? If you do, I’ll see ya at village grind!“
“Great place for a light bite to eat or a healthy meal.Lots of gluten free and vegan options.Everything is made fresh to order and delicious.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and Vegan options with plant based meats and vegetable proteinsDietary restrictions: Perfect place for all kinds of dietary restrictions especially gluten and dairyParking: Plenty of parking on the street and in the lotKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and casual.Wheelchair accessibility: All 1st floor with ADA access and tables that have plenty of room for wheelchairs“
“This place is incredible!! Thought it is heavily Chinese food, it also has Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Laotian influences. I'd go as far to say it is my favorite restaurant in the area, and the best Asian food I've ever had! It is attached to an Asian grocery, and also has a fresh fish market! It can get busy, but we have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes. The staff here is awesome and collaboratively work hard to provide excellent service to all guests. They have large tables for bigger parties up to 15, for larger family gatherings or an office outing for lunch. The egg roles are crispy, and not greasy and are a must have with a spicy wasabi mustard! The charsue pork which is featured in a variety of dishes is certainly a highlight, and you can get it by the pound to take home for an easy dinner. They have some very authentic dishes and options such as chicken feet and fish balls, to more "Americanized" versions of sesame chicken and general tso's for the non-adventurous pallet. I have yet to try anything here I didn't like, and highly recommend it for your next food venture! Hands down , it is the best!“
“I can not suggest the Kava as I do not have a taste for it, but I definitely suggest the coffee, it was very good and worth every penny. The patrons are quiet, and the atmosphere is very sedate. All in all, I do suggest it for anyone who enjoys a good espresso.“
“Did not have much left past lunch. Food is okay but maybe not worth the price point. Sugar free brownie was good. Chicken salad as well. Ruben was overcooked. They left it there just cooking while they were cleaning and getting ready to close.“
“It was our first time there. You go in, pre-order food, and find a place to enjoy your meal. You can also get a good selection of ICE COLD BEER. When we got our hot food, it was awesome BBQ. We got the pulled pork plates, with Mac and cheese, coleslaw, sweet potatoes, and mmm good. We can't wait to go back. Parking will be a little tight, but will be worth it. The prices were reasonable.“
“Methodical Coffee in the Commons is such a terrific place to enjoy a coffee and treat on a beautiful day. They also offer a unique service where they will personalize a bag of coffee for a special occasion. I purchased a coffee grinder for a bridal shower gift and wanted to add something extra for the special couple. I found this service on their website and it turned out so nice! Can't wait to give them this unique gift!!“
“The food and brunch cocktails were as amazing as the service. The patio was shady and dog friendly. I should have asked for my server’s name because she explained to us northerners what grits were and let us have a sample for free. She was so kind.“
