“I dined at Delaney oyster tonight, and had an incredible experience. Our server was Charlie (easy to remember, we have the same name) and he gave us an experience we could never forget. 10/10 I will be back and I will be asking for Charlie!“

“Located on upper King Street, The Darling Oyster Bar is a hoping joint that you must make reservations if you want to get prime time seating, as it is clearly very popular with the locals. As you can imagine from the name, it’s a seafood heavy restaurant so be prepared. The atmosphere is fun and casual, a touch on the loud side but not off putting. Note there are two sections, the large more "happening" side with the bar, osyer shuckers, with multiple street facing windows and a smaller, dark wood lined room that is much quieter and intimate. For our meal we had the Fried Clam Strips (good but they used a sweet and sour sauce that reminded me of a General Tao's or Orange Beef sauce), Hushpuppies (delicious), Creole Shrimp (excellent...one of the best shrimp dishes we've ever had!) and, of course being in the south, a side of Grits (which I love).Service was great! Friendly and engaging with the meals brought out relatively quickly. Overall, a highlight of our visit to Charleston and strongly recommend it for seafood lovers. Enjoy!“

“First time dining, will not be the last! Entrees were superbly prepared and ample (rabbit en croute, flounder). The accompaniments were imaginative, fresh & very flavor-filled. The wine list complements the menu & is explained by very knowledgeable staff. Desserts will be experienced on our next visit. Looking forward to patio dining as well! Go! You won't be disappointed!“

“One of the best dining experiences I have ever had! Menus was beautifully crafted and even prepared substitutions for my wife given her pregnancy. Amazing team that took care of us and got to know us personally in the 2-hour timeframe we were there. At the end, they surprised us with a hand-signed copy of our menu to help us commemorate such a great experience during our baby-moon.“

“Amazing experience through and through. From the greeting on the porch, the intimate table setting, amazing service, and even more amazing food. This resteraunt really curates an excellent experience. Once you order everything at the beginning of your meal you can sit back and relax as the dishes roll out perfectly timed. The chefs delivered the dishes themselves and were as enthusiastic to explain them as we were to eat them. Our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and helped guide our choices. The menu on their website was definitely different than the one we were handed. Their menu rotates so frequently that their website lags behind, and that's a great thing. Don't let it scare you away from a reservation, but let it excite you for the surprises that await. We sat on the balcony of the back porch where there are only 3 tables and it was very private! This resteraunt is going into our list of required visits every time we visit the city. Absolutely try this place. You won't regret it.“

“My partner and I just moved down from NYC ourselves and was looking for a great first place to eat. I did a quick search on Google Maps and saw the peculiar name which piqued our interest. After reading about the history of the restaurant and a quick menu glance, I knew this was the place. The outside is painted minimally, the patio was quaint, but nothing prepared us for the vibe inside. Such a great energy as soon as you walk in, everyone socializing and having a great time. It truly feels like you’re in a chic Brooklyn eatery. We were shown to our seats at the bar when we arrived and were swiftly greeted by the wonderful Dexter. His knowledge of the menu was astounding, but his drink making skills are impeccable! He perfectly executed what was being described and we enjoyed every single sip.Last but not certainly not least, the food. I don’t believe one can accurately describe how absolutely delicious these dishes were. Dexter said 3-4 plates would suffice for two people so we splurged and got 5.Stir-fry noodles: to die forField Greens: something so simple yet so full with flavorFried Kimchi: wonderfully addictingPork Dumplings: soft, plump, juicy, & spicy in all the right waysKaraage: I can eat every single day for the rest of my lifeAll in all, our experience left us completely and utterly satisfied, but wanting more in all the best ways. I knew I had to express my thoughts because as Biggie said “Spread Love, It’s the Brooklyn Way!”“

“My husband & I decided to have date night here a few nights ago & it was such a wonderful dining experience! The food was so delicious - full of yummy spices & flavors. The cocktails were also some of the best we've had in Charleston!! The bartender didn't disappoint with several sweet designs in the cocktails, too! :) Make sure you ask for Kristin when booking a reservation! She made our dining experience even more fantastic!“

“Beautiful rooftop dining and such an amazing view! I took one star from food as the pina colada shrimp was good but not worth $22 for 6 shrimp. It was $70 for one plate of shrimp, a non alcoholic drink and a shot of bourbon (+tip). I may could justify that given the view/atmosphere though...“

If I am having a bad day, all I have to do is go to Neon Tiger and it is instantly all better! The food is amazing! I have enjoyed all of the staples and the specials and I have tried every item I could. I absolutely love that I don't have to ask for no straw in my drink! I love all the decor! Even if you can't get a table here, sitting at the bar is a pleasure! The staff are so friendly and do a great job of juggling all their duties while giving awesome service! I should have left this updated review ages ago but sometimes words are hard to come by when a feeling is not fleeting. Below you will find my original review in 2020 right after Neon Tiger opened. I will never forget you Neon Tiger! You have definitely been a beacon of hope for animals and helped steer me in the right direction! Thank you!!Been looking for a vegan pepperoni pizza. “Can't beat a double espresso for under $3. $2.50, in fact, which is why we went (and why we went a second time later that day) . Staff is friendly and unpretentious, along with the rest of the vibe. Bagel sandwiches looked amazing. Clean bathrooms and great outdoor seating, too. An amazing find! I hope they keep it real.“

“I went with 3 others on a sunny Saturday after attending Brewvival nearby. We were seated immediately, right at the front of the restaurant by the big windows that were streaming light into the bar area. “NEW OWNERS!!! New owners put a lot of time and effort into revamping this place. It's cleaned up inside but still a good "hole in the wall" feel. My favorite thing about hole in the walls is that it's guaranteed to have good food. I got the pretzels and the steak sandwich. Pretzels were FRESH and the steak sandwich was absolutely amazing. Service is great. Atmosphere is just as amazing.“

“Little Jack's Tavern is truly a gem. The staff was so lovely and the atmosphere was perfect. While I thoroughly enjoyed my black bean burger, I couldn’t help but feel a little jealous of the religious experience my boyfriend was having with his double tavern burger across from me. Do yourself a favor and visit this place… and order a margarita while you’re at it.“
“You just have to get your butt up there and see for yourself. The people, the atmosphere, and of course…the more the merrier!! Attentive Bartenders and the owners are just the best! They’re sisters and ‘Oh So Country’ and so so sweet. You should know that smoking is an actual thing there. If u smoke, you can smoke inside at the bar, tables by the pool table, out on the back patio, anywhere, everywhere…u can smoke. And even if you don’t smoke….just know they will be. Smoke Eaters are up there doing what they do The girls crack the doors open and will turn on the turbo fan, whatever it takes to keep the air clear of as much smoke as possible..:. But, it’s seriously so chill there, always a good time, good laughs and memories that will make for some great stories to tell around the fire later and for years to come. I can say, I have never had a bad time or less than an awesome, fun experience there. And as you may have already gathered YES! I go there often!! Maybe u should too!!Parking: Just know there’s plenty!!“

“This place only exists if you know what's it is and how to get in! It's on the corner and you have to push a button to be allowed in. So cool!Inside, it's a long, dark bar with a pool table in the back. It's apparently a late night hot spot, but we always go early. The house cocktail list changes frequently, but there's a tremendous selection of alcohols and they will happily make any cocktail to prefer.Stop in for a quick drink while waiting for a table at Berkeley's or Renzo (same owner) or for a late night treat, you won't be disappoint“

“Ordered chicken empanadas to go. They were delicious. Seriously they were ridiculous. Good texture, right amount of filling to dough ratio, the chicken was seasoned good and they’re 4 for $13. “Went today with my family bc I was craving the catfish, and Mac and cheese and of course their expresso martini. Sadly the Mac and cheese DID NOT taste the same! Something was way off! Did ya’ll fire the person who was in charge of the Mac and cheese? If so, bring him/her back! I had to send it back and the second one still was off! The noodles are different, and the cheese wasn’t melted properly! Also what happened to the touch of seasoning! . But I did enjoy my martini.“

“A great place to get a variety of tacos and other Mexican dishes. The place is usually chill during the afternoon and becomes more exciting as the night rolls in. They have a great bar that makes good margaritas, and they do not skimp on the alcohol. The tacos themselves are pretty sizeable and delicious. There are plenty of side dishes that you can get as well, and they are equally appealing. The dining area is clean and the staff are friendly. “I recently went to Famulari's for the first time. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had at any restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated on a Frida night which was nice, but there were a lot of people in the restaurant. I have celiac disease so I can't have any food in contact with wheat, and I let my sweet server, Brittney, know. She want above and beyond to make sure my food wouldn't be contaminated and her manager even personally made my pizza. I had no issues after eating my pizza, not to mention it was delicious! Thank you Famulari's!!! I will be backDietary restrictions: They have gluten free crust and even went above and beyond to make sure my pizza was made separately from the regular dough pizzas“
