“If you're looking for your typical, affordable, fast Chinese takeout, this is the place. I ordered sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, and hot and sour soup. I don't normally like sesame chicken but my partner wanted it and it was 10/10. Was fried well and the sauce was very savory. Lo mein was average and the hot and sour soup was really spicy and good! It only took them 15 minutes to cook everything on a Saturday night. Will be back“

“The food was absolutely delicious! We started with the Grit flight and bread basket for an appetizer and it was amazing. The Shrimp and Grits were some of the best that I have eaten and the Banana pudding cheesecake was also delicious! Highly recommend!“

“Only tried the coffee and pastries for our first visit, coffee was 10/10 as was the cream puff, hands down the best I’ve ever had (it was overflowing with delicious filling)! With having a small child I really appreciated that they find & bring your order to you! Can’t wait to go back to try the other menu items!
Oh I also have to give a shoutout for the terrific napkins, they’re not the wimpy ones where you need 10 to wipe one finger!“

“Visited this restaurant based upon a friend's suggestion. The food was amazing as well.as the service. We didn't eat in the restaurant as it is very small . There was a line to get in and it moved quickly. Definitely try this place if you are visiting Charleston.“

“We found Malagon on Yelp…..not disappointed. Small and cozy restaurant, many options both small and large plates, don’t over look the daily specials, we didn’t we had the Tomato Tartar and Arugula Salad. Felt right at home no rush to eat quickly. When ordering look around what others were eating and get an instant review. Highly recommend you make reservations.“

“We were in Charleston for work at the Clemson Research Center. This place was recommended by a coworker that visited often. It was promoted as real British fish and chips food. They only serve meat pies and fish and chips. That's it. GO. It's the best fish and chips I've had since visiting London. The World Famous is a full pound of fried COD. SSOOOO GOOOD!!!“

“Big Shout Out to Tina our server today at Metro Diner ! She was Wonderful! She came right over with a beautiful smile and took our beverage order. We told her we knew what we wanted. She had no problem taking our food order. She even made a suggestion to my husband that saved him a few cents. She was a ray of Sunshine. She was very attentive. She checked on us several times. The food is great! The staff is great! Their cooks know what they are doing!! You can aee they all work as a team ! We have never had a bad meal there!!“

“I asked my fiancé to find a nice coffee shop that also sells beer in Charleston. After her google search, she asked our friends at The Lucky Luchador and they also recommended your establishment. “The restaurant had been recommended by our Uber driver and it did not disappoint. This is more of a cafeteria style restaurant. You order at the cashier and someone brings the food to you on a try. Do not be fooled by the basic setup here. The food is outstanding. They offer a variety of sauces at the table. We had wings, brisket potato salad and beans. All were top-notch. The portions are big so come hungry.“

“I am not one of those people who post my daily activity or what food I'm eating or rate the places I eat..until now.. I'm from New York so I've had my share of diner muffins.. I go out to breakfast 7 days a week x 365 days a year .. have had my morning meal in several South Carolina establishments..you get the picture. Sunrise Bistro recently hired a a baker, Maddy. I have had a blueberry, lemon, cranberry/orange and nutella/raspberry muffin..I can say without hesitation these are by far the best muffins I have ever had. Maddy is even going to indulge me with a bran muffin. THANK YOU SUNRISE BISTRO .. THANK YOU MADDY!!“

“Great little cocktail bar. Wide variety of drinks. Very intimate feel for friends or a date. I had a passion fruit Paloma which was good but a tad in the sweet side. The bartenders aren’t super chatty but they’re also super busy making drinks due to the variety. Would definitely come back to try more on the menu!“
