Tonight we had meatloaf with tomato jam and mashed potatoes, beef short rib and succotash and a delish peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. The menu is an elevated farm to table experience and every item on it is so good and beautifully planted. “The Best Crepe in Charlotte! I have been coming to Crepe Bistro for almost 5 years now. It has become my daughter and I favorite spot for our Sunday morning father/daughter time. She always orders her "usual" nutella crepe with chocolate ice cream. Even when we call to order for pick up, she asks for the "usual" and the super friendly staff knows what that is❤️. This wonderful place will be part of our memories through our whole life. She was about 10 when they opened, and now at 15 she is driving me to Crepe Bistro (permit driving practice). The rest of the family has tried the Elvis Presley, Strawberry cheesecake, Belgian waffle, and we love them. Kind staff, and great food for the whole family. Simply the Best Crepe in Charlotte.“

“Great food, great service, but if you’re a larger party and are seated in the enclosed patio area, take heed that it will be extremely uncomfortable with the summer heat. They only have a couple of small portable fans that are absolutely inadequate for the total space, and the ceiling fans (supposedly set to the incorrect direction) didn’t help much. Even the dining room wasn’t much better. I know it’s been hot, but if the customer is uncomfortable I can only imagine the staff.“

“Family owned/run business. Go Jets/Knicks. You can order a pie or just get a slice. I wanted to try it out and got a cheese slice and it was so yummy. Pizza tasted good, had a nice bake, and was not floppy. I didn’t grab a pic because I ate it right away. My NY Knicks Hero was very good, never had vodka sauce before but it was perfect. My son got the Alfredo. Even though it was a bit of a drive I would definitely make the trip back to try more of the menu. Customer service is great, the establishment was clean. They have a patio. Very friendly.“

He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every detail. Joseph provided outstanding customer service and made us feel very welcome. “We have eaten carry out here for years and loved it. Today we tried to dine in. They were busy and understaffed. I had to ask for our soups and salads after waiting 30 min. The soup was cold. The brought us hot ones right away. 15 more min passes and no server or food. I asked another waitress to help us. She said the food would be right out. 20 minutes after that, we had just had it with no explanation or food. We left after an hour of waiting. We took our untouched food in to go boxes bc we didn't want to sit there any longer. People were getting seated and served way after us. No compensation was offered. Very disappointing.“

As another guest who was there that day, I feel compelled to share what I actually witnessed.

The manager I think her name was Ashley, came over herself and explained that it’s first come, first served, and that calling ahead doesn’t guarantee a table. The guest actually asked if people who were already seated could be moved, which she politely said no to.

She still tried to help though—she offered a few options, including putting the group together on the patio with TVs. She even went out of her way to clean and rearrange tables herself, but the group ended up leaving after watching her do all that.

From what I saw, the staff did everything they reasonably could to help.
And my guy… at least put in the effort to delete the ending to your ChatGBT response.“

“I absolutely love eating here, food is always great. I had a French dip sandwich with fries and carrot cake for desert. My friend had breakfast eggs, grits and toast with sausage. The service is usually Stella, but I always come in the evening. Well Maria was our waitress and I didn't feel she was attentive at all, especially when it was not crowded at all. She didn't bring water to our table and I observed 2 tables by use their waiter brought water as soon as the patrons sat down without asking. We had to ask for water. She dropped the food off and took off. We had to wait until she finished chatting with another server to ask for ketchup for my French fries... My friend doesn't eat cheese on her grits, nor did she ask for cheese; had to correct that. She never refilled the water glasses until she was asked to....I think if she would stop texting on her cell phone so much, she would have provided better service. Maria was the only waitress or waiter that was on their cell phone in the entire diner.“
